I bought a few little golden books for a friend of mine son, because he loves bedtime stories. This is a perfect classic book and we love little golden books.

I bought this for my nephew’s 1st Christmas/Birthday and it was a huge hit at Christmas. My dad “didn’t know they still made books” 😩 thank you technology and my nephew wanted everyone to read it to him. The price was crazy cheap and the quality of the book was great. The colors of the pictures are vibrant and the words are big enough grandpa won’t have to get his reading glasses. This is perfect to cozy up and read to your littles the night before Christmas or even have that naughty elf on the shelf leave as a gift 🎁

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I bought this for myself. This book was so special to me as a child and it brings back such good memories. It's exactly as I recall with nice bright illustrations. I'm feeling very melancholy this year as I have lost 4 loved ones in a short span. This little book brings me a glimmer of happiness.I did want to mention I received a paper cut from the inside front cover. The corners where the book is seamed are extremely sharp, razor sharp.I'm going to put tape over that area.

I wished there was more to the story or maybe an additional scene at the end. But considering it's a Little Golden Book meant for younger readers, I understand why it was kept concise.I have used this book as a bedtime story for my little cousins during the holiday season. They absolutely loved it! The magical theme and festive illustrations captivated their imaginations.

This book was exactly what I wanted. The illustrations are cute and they have the look of Christmas in the past. Perfect for your Christmas traditions of reading, this poem!
