These are great quality and wonderful size, and feels like quality, lightly coated cardstock. These are great for parents who want to homeschool their children, prepare them for school or both as well as for children who are "highly active" learners that is, those with a busy mind. My son immediately played with these as soon as they were delivered. He went from watching tv to energetically playing with the cards and pattern blocks. I also bought these to help him to focus better and to get him away from the tv. These pattern cards with the pattern blocks achieved this. The blocks you will have to purchase separately. The cards do not feel thin and would be even better if laminated, which I plan to do so I can reuse these for my other children. Given the quality, low price, educational value, ability to keep a child's attention for 30mins+, this is a must-have product for parents and even kindergarten teachers; yes, it's sturdy and durable enough to be used in a classroom with daily use; however, I do recommend laminating them to avoid them from being bent over time due to heavy use. Even more, these helped with shape recognition skills. I was so impressed with how my son would repeat the shapes as he would complete each pattern. He would call out the shapes he may have missed, or describe them: "a green triangle, a yellow octagon." Since I use to work full-time and my son was watched by his father's grandmother, I always regretted that they did not help teach him anything and just let him watch tv all day long. Now working from home, I'm working on "weaning" him from binge watching tv and getting him excited to learn. This has indeed helped me to do this. It has even helped to bring out and showcase how intelligent and eager to learn he really is. Get this for your child and/or students. They are a great aide with the pattern blocks. :)

Great cards! I ordered them to go with Learning Resources Wooden Pattern Blocks (Set of 250). The cards sold by Learning Resources look more complex and somewhat less interesting (they seem to consistent of only geometric patterns) for younger kids. After reading another review that said that these cards worked with Learning Resources blocks I ordered them. These cards have great designs of object/animals that kids recognize. The cards are numbered from less to more complex, so it serves as a good guide. Kids can practice on the simpler one and progress to more complex ones. The only con is that the cards are not laminated. Of course, I can get them laminated too, but it would have been nicer if they came laminated. They're good quality, but lamination will add the extra protection. My daughter is 2.5 years old and although she was able to do the simper designed reasonably well, she doesn't have the precision to do many of the complex designs (that involve putting many smaller blocks next to each other) without shoving the blocks a little accidentally. So on more complex designs she struggled keeping all the blocks together. But that just means she will be able to enjoy these for a long time as her fine motor skills become more sophisticated.

Amazing this was so much fun to create different picture all while learning about colors, sizes, and geometric figures! The children love it so much! Great to give as a Christmas gift to enhance learning! 🎁🎁🎁🎁

I purchased these for my 2.5 year old son and we love them! The variety of pictures and difficulty are great and they are printed on thick card stock like paper. I wish they would have come in some sort of case or there was some way to keep them all together as they are just a bunch of card stock photos. I found a zipper heavy duty clear bag to store them so that they would stay together and not get lost all over the play room. The colors are bright and match our pattern blocks minus one piece that is white but colored brown on the cards. This is understandable as the cards themselves are white. Good product and exactly what I was looking for in pattern block cards.

These are nice, the kids enjoy working with them.

I have read the comments of other parents for cards such as these and they say that the card stunt the view and imagination of the child in question. I feel the opposite. My kids use these cards to start creating. They make the picture and then they morf that creation into other things and even more than one card. These cards are made of a sturdy heavy paper and won't just rip with a little tug. I'm not saying they are made of plastic, just strong paper. they are the size of a standard piece of paper 8x11. The colors are as bright in person as the pictures on the site. My kids loved these cards for as long as their attention spans were held.

My little like puzzles and these keep her attention for about a half an hour.

My kid loves this. The pages are slightly smaller than the Melissa and Doug wooden board but it works well. Great product.
