I'm very happy with my Mackie set. The system rocks the house and shakes all the windows in my 2400 square foot house. I would recommend purchasing them. The bass sounds very good. It gets a little distorted at its highest level but turn the volume down just a little bit and it'll rock the house. Most of the time when I turn it even halfway up most people can't handle how loud it is and usually ask to turn it down. I love it being loud and obnoxious though!

Excellent product read a lot of reviews and with the added Bluetooth feature and the pair connect to each other is awesome and they sound the same. Looking forward to buying thump 18s subs next

What sound quality from these two speakers. Not overly loud, but they project like crazy. Can be heard from over 200’ away. Love the Bluetooth function which was the main draw to this setup! Excellent.

I'm a mobile DJ and figured it was time for an upgrade. The first thing that impressed me was the weight. I carry 15s as my mains and was use to hauling heavy speakers. From the moment I rec'd the boxes, I could already tell they were a lot lighter. For mobile DJ's that is a must! The newer look on these speakers are definitely an improvement and I like how you can stack them up for storage. It has a 4 handle design which is convenient when laying sideways or standard up right.The sound quality is excellent. On my old setup, i was running a BBE sonic maximizer to clean up the sound. I hooked these up and the sound on its own was better than running it through the BBE processor. Part of that is the built in mixer with 3 channel digital EQ so you can adjust highs, mids and lows including the bluetooth channel. The Mixer mode is nice to have so you can change how you want these speakers to sound based on voice or music application with or without sub. The color display is very convenient and easy to navigate.I chose the BST version to check out the bluetooth functionality. Being a mobile DJ, i can see how this can come in handy. Paring was very easy and the app was self explanatory. It can be hit and miss on the pairing but once paired, its easy the next time you enable bluetooth again. The linking of the 2 speakers was easy. Once paired and using the app, you can control everything you can do on the back of the speaker and more. I like how you can mute channels, individual speakers and EQ settings at your fingertips. Once paired, you still have to connect using the app and you can disconnect through the app as well. I found this useful so while its paired, you can disconnect so that your phone notifications don't transfer through the speakers during the live performance. Now i can play pandora, youtube, bluetooth on the fly while still connected via XLR to my DJ controller, this is great for those quick music requests or break time and set it to auto play for whatever reason.There's 2 channel XLRs and a Sub out in the back. One thing I wish it had was a 3.5mm jack as my previous speaker had it and i took advantage of that when connecting phones to it. But it guess, that is solved with Bluetooth now.I connect a sub directly to the sub out of the Mackie and together its a monster hitting highs, mids and low. This is definitely not the lowest price speakers but for this class against other name brands, i find the price point worth the investment. As they say, you get what you pay for!I also chose this kit with the rockville tripod as the hydraulic mechanism for raising and lowering the speakers should come useful. The rockville tripod did not disappoint. It was difficult at first to press the button to lower and higher the pole but once depressed, it gets easier. When you press the button, it doesn't shoot up the pole but its got a nice slow rise to each position and you can secure it with a knob to lock in the position. Its nicely built and heavy duty, definitely a step up compared to the standard speaker tripods. Since its hydraulic pressure, the raise is a alot easier than lowering. You have to push it down against the pressure. There is no pins to deal with, i find that a relief and the advantage of raising the speakers up to 7 ft without needing a ladder is the reason I bought this pair. Bags are nice addition as well, my tripods tend to get beat up from travel and storage.I'm in California so purchasing this outside of New York, saved me on paying tax and free shipping!
