Great value and very sturdy
Had to write a review as I am extremely impressed with this product. Install was quick and easy. I have a full size Rubicon 255 spare tire on the rear and there is plenty of room.I used a Hi Lift HL485 in this holder and it’s very snug. I doubt there will be any rattle but haven’t driven it yet after install. Yes, someone who wants to steal this Jack could unbolt the hinge but as others have pointed out, it would be a lot of work. The pad lock I put on will discourage most people.I did lubricate both twisting screws with Park Brothers anti-seize compound to discourage rust on the bolts.

Easy install
Fits hi lift great-if you have a smittybilt 54inch the base is to big. See photos the 3rd one is the stock base on the smittbilt it is to big. The jack fits but not the base you can modify or buy a new base I used my my hi lift base for photos. The smitty is the black one it has been painted. I have 35 inch tires they measure 33 1/2 across and there is an inch to spare between it and the bolt. There are holes for a lock but that doesn't stop someone from unbolting the hinge just detours casual thieves. clearance is no problem-window is not a problem useless you forget to close it. The plastic covers pull off and you can drill them out to install the spacers and bolts just make sure to allow for the 1 inch that they snap in. There are tabs so when marking make sure those are lined up.

overall good product
The product does exactly what it is supposed to do and that is to hold a hi-lift jack. There were a couple of washers that were not included that probably could have been and I had to drill out the hole that for the bolt that holds the hinge together to get it to line up with the welded nut. Other small annoyances, like the rubber pads not contacting the jack at the hinge, that really don't affect the overall performance. Mine is ultimately sturdy and does not have any rattling of the jack while I drive.

Good quality for price
Put it on my 2018 willys wheeler, no drilling required took 5 minutes to install. Holding up great, has a place for a lock to keep someone from stealing your jack. Would recommend using thread lock on new bolts when installing to make sure nothing backs out.

Initial Review…Mediocre
So I would say this is about what I’d expect for the price. Not great engineering, but bolt holes lined up ok. I’d planned to mount this over the hinge covers, but the spacers were not the same length, and I didn’t want to drill massive holes in the covers, and I thought I would lose mounting strength and thread depth by placing the holder further out from the hinges.I added adhesive backed furniture pads where the jack rests and also between the mount and the hinges, gave it a much tighter and rattle-free mount. The package was missing the bottom nut for the bolt that acts as the closing arm hinge, it (the bolt) was just sitting loose in the hinge. A trip to Ace for a lock nut solved that. The knob bolts for the securing the Jack are about 2x too long (see pic). I also added some washers here and there to help clean up the connections.Time and trail use will tell if this holds up to actual abuse.

Looks and works GREAT!
Installation was easy! Built really tough and creates a tight fit for my 5' Hi-Lift jack. No shake, rattle or rolls! :)I opted not to go with the rubber 'donut' for holding the hi-lift handle in place due to reviews showing they crack/fall apart. I used several small bungees to keep the handle in place. :)

Not a good mount for a standard Hi-Lift jack .
This was advertised as a standard Hi-Lift jack mount, but the locking hinge clamp is 1/8 inch too short to firmly attach a standard Hi-Lift jack. You can attach the jack if you force the bolt sideways which will eventually cross-thread it. And the metal is soft and it will obviously not hold up in rough trail use conditions which is when you need the jack firmly mounted on your jeep. When I opened the box is it said this product is made in China and its so obvious why it is garbage. Amazon needs to warn buyers on their website when when they advertise products that are just third rate Chinese made junk.

Great product
I just installed this thing (took literally 15 minutes, maybe less), put a hi lift Jack in it, and rallied down the Baja. There was some moderate off roading along the way. This thing held the jack perfectly the entire time. I kept checking to see if anything had come loose after bouncing down a dry riverbed, traversing sand dunes, or launching over a “tope” I missed seeing at 45 mph, but nada, held solid the entire 3000 miles. Didn’t even need to tighten the knobs. You could probably pay more, but doubt they will work any better than this thing.
