I used these lights for soffit lighting on my house. I did a lot of research before I committed. Definitely is worth the value considering normal soffit lights cost a hecka lot more and to have them installed is a couple thousand. I will say that is was a beast installing them on my house. I am just glad I didn't put my foot through the ceiling while crawling through the insulation in the attic.Overall, I think they look good but are dimmer than I expected. The lights were a lot smaller than I thought they'd be (about an inch wide). If I knew how hard it would be to install...I'm not sure I would have done it.

Excellent quality. Much smaller than we anticipated (even though the size is posted clearly on the listing) but powerful and cast a beautiful light. Easy to install. We thought the dimmer came with the kit, but were pleasantly surprised that the component we thought was a dimmer is actually a sensor switch, that turns the lights on when the sun goes down. Great DIY product; requires no electrician. We will buy more of these when we add lighting under the soffits on the front of our house. We installed in cement board, and had to purchase a second Forstner bit, but it would have lasted the whole job if we had installed in wood.

At first I was a little worried, they are tiny. They certainly are not like the soffit lights I was expecting. I was thinking of returning, but went ahead and installed. For being small they produce some good light. Not as much as ones that take a full size bulb, but they still create a nice ambiance on our house.

A very good quality product, a bit complicated trying to determine necessary wiring and splitters.

After some research I went with these over soffit lights. So glad I did! Tapped into AC power in the attic. One transformer did the trick. I bought a few extra splitters and add-on led packs,drilled the holes, ran the power cables to each led array and viola, beautiful down lighting around my house for a fraction of the price. The neighbors immediately noticed and commented on how good it make the house look (not to mention the security benefits) these little leds put out some serious light. They even come with a control unit that automatically gives me dusk to dawn lighting. I am extremely pleased with this product!

I ordered these direct through Dekor mainly due to the fact that when ordering right from them you can choose "NEXGEN" led, basically 3 times as bright for same wattage. Base price was the same and they offer free shipping. There are also accessories you can order when dealing direct with Dekor. They even picked up that I had accidentally ordered 4 more stair lights instead of 4 more down firing lights, they shipped it the next day and I had it very soon after. Installation was easy but you will likely need to extend the wiring or just plan on connecting these to each other. We ran the wire in the j-channel of the soffit otherwise you need access to the entire attic and the leads are not long enough. You can order female to female connectors and t- connectors right through dekor if making connections worries you. You can also order longer wires with plugs on the ends. best bet is to lay it all out on paper if you are worried about making connections. I have it connected to a wifi outlet which lets me schedule from tablet or phone. Excellent company to deal with I will be ordering more for my garage.
