Holds Wyze camera well, but a little tough to install
I like that the kit came with the 4 small screws and phillips driver needed to install the lid. Considering how small and light the Wyze camera is it seemed odd that they included some very long wood screws to hold it to the wall. For drywall the screws are easy to screw in, although still much longer than needed; but since I was mounting to a wood eave it was rather difficult to screw in such long screws. I used my own shorter screws and even they were hard to completely tighten. One problem with the mount is that you must install both the camera and the power cable before you can screw down the lid. It would have been better to have a slot for the power cable plug to fit through an opening in the lid so the cable can be plugged from the outside and you could unplug it with having to open the lid (which has 4 recessed screws). So overall the mount works fine. It just could have been a bit easier to enclose the camera and install the mount had the design been more well thought out.

Good solid solution to protect Wyze Cams outdoors, but can be better!
The mount is quite good compared to what is (or is not) out there for the purpose of making the Wyze cams kind of water resistant. It would be REALLY nice if the mount could feature a rubber seal around where the 2 pieces are screwed together to enclose the camera inside, and secondly maybe make a mesh opening on the bottom of the housing so it is slightly more protected from the elements without compromising the speaker output from the Wyze V2 cameras. A third enhancement needs to be around where the USB cable inlet is in the back of the housing. Instead of a gaping hole, it would be great to have a rubber flexible surround around the area to better protect the camera and at the same time allowing a tight seal around the cable opening for the plug. Overall pretty happy with purchase and I would recommend it to others for the Wyze cam V2 since this is the best "outdoor" housing there is currently in the market.

So far it's weather proof
*Update*Mount is still working great. But I had to open it to relocate the camera to another area. I could not get the screws out of the housing....turns out Ice had built up in the holes and that was preventing the screw driver from getting to the screws. I wouldn't say this is an issue with the product. Just and FYI. I broke the mount open, and I must say it was pretty secure and hard to break. So that's a plus!OriginalWorking fine with my Wyze cam. Seems to be protecting the camera and not affecting the view or night vision. Only downside is removing the screws each time I need to access the camera i.e. adding a SD card or seeing the indicator lights. But overall it's doing what I wanted and I am going to buy another.

Excellent enclosure for the money, with one problem.
It's light solid plastic (not rubbery silicone) which I like. It fits the Wyzecam very well. It doesn't look weird like that birdhouse looking case that's out there. I think this will be a good way to use the Wyzecam outside, at least until they develop a true outdoor model. I knocked off a star because this case really isn't sealed from the elements. Where the two halves come together to enclose the camera, there is no gasket. No gasket where the USB power comes in and no gasket where the face of the Wyzecam meets the holes. I'm going to try some removable silicone to give it a better seal, but I think it will be fine until they make a true outdoor camera.

Easy to install, came with all the necessary tools
My husband was able to install this without a problem. The best part was that it came with all the necessary screws and tools required for installation! We did end up spray-painting the black casing to gray so that it would blend it with our outdoor storage cabinets better. We installed this under our carport, just beyond our back patio (we live in a town-home association) since we've had some car break-ins recently. It is installed under the carport, but I guess there's still a possibility that it could get wet, but it just hasn't yet, so I can't really comment on how weatherproof the casing is. It's still pretty easy to take down the whole camera, so I guess it's not the best security camera, but that's more of a problem with the Wyze camera itself and not this wall mount casing.

A bit difficult to adjust.
It seems that most of these Wyze cam mounts are very similar. This one I believe has a nice enclosure and apparently no issues with night vision (I'm yet to try it). It's a good price. The issue I initially had was that the metal pivot point wouldn't adjust (you'll see multiple people on many of these mounts complain about this) So you install the bracket onto your wall, then screw in the mount and you'll only be able to adjust from straight out to a single line in one direction. That could be up, down, left, right.. all depends on how you screwed on the mount. It's on a swivel, but it would only pivots However, I realize it DOES actually turn, but it's super tight. So, you have to unscrew the plastic a bit then turn the swivel and you can actually move it. So, I adjusted my review to account for this. Once I actually install the thing I'll adjust again!I contacted the seller and they were apologetic and wanted to make it right. They said they are working on improving the product. So, customer support is good.

Surprised
Had it up for a few weeks now and actually surprised it's still working as we've had a few days of bad storms and some fairly cold weather. I still give it 5 stars because of the price and ease of installation, but it'd really be nice if it came with some sort of sealant for the camera holes as extra protection against rain and snow. The only thing I didn't realize (was probably in the instructions that I never read) was that the camera's base had to be taken off, which wasn't a big deal but at first gave me that "oh crap, it doesn't fit" moment. So be aware of that.As of now I totally recommend it, and if the camera stops working due to weather I'll update this.
