i gave this as a gift last year. The recipient continues to mention how much she loves her book stand and how she uses it often. She really appreciated receiving this. She keeps it set up on her kitchen shelf with her favorite go-to cookbook on it.

I have had my book stand for a couple of months and have read several books using it. The construction is very stable and the bamboo has been finished very nicely. The decorative cut outs make it look nice and removes some of the weight. The adjustable stand height mechanism is very simple with nothing to break or wear out. It’s foldable which makes it easy to put away when not in use. The page stay clips are very useful and I use them often. My only suggestion would be to improve the design on the page stay adjustment screws. I have found that the screws will back out and loosen when moving the stays during use. I may try to use a thread locking glue and replace the metal washer with a nylon washer. This would be a minor improvement but in my opinion would perfect the simple but very effective design.

I mounted my book and clamped it open. Very good for making it easy to read. I recommend buying the book from Amazon by David Fasold, “The Ark of Noah” because it explains what is scientifically found, accepted by the government of Turkey for becoming a national park; while it is about 17 miles away from a volcano named Ararat incorrectly by some Western European visitor about 1,000 years ago. And the ancient Hebrew Cubit dimension is about 20.6 inches not a British 18 inch concept based on 1/2 yard derived from King Henry I (1068-1135) measured from his nose to his index finger. Ain’t correction learning about what Moses wrote nice?

Easy to store, held my large favorite cookbook very well

Just received my bamboo book holder and really like it! It's both attractive and very functional. I live in a condo on a lake so I plan to use it on my patio table while having dinner, reading a book and enjoying the view.

I have really very seldom given a product 5 stars.I remembered during my early years (am dating myself on this sentence) that while typing on a real typewriter, we used paper stands but it only held one page. After thinking about it I realized it would be so helpful in the kitchen, reading patterns (beading, crafting etc) and books too, as well other rooms. The are 2 arms which are on the front and it you want to hold papers down or your book on certain pages, just slide the arm up. I have yet to need the arms as the lip is just right leaning downward and plenty of space for your items you are using.The bamboo appears to me is very sturdy, not a complaint there. This stand is not made cheaply. It’s veery sturdy. The very reason Ieven looked at this one was for the the width, I wanted something that held 2 pages. This is perfect.I can’t sing enough praises for this stand. I am going to order another so I don’t have to take it room to room.

I bought two - one for cookbooks/recipes in kitchen and one for office desk for my week schedule. Both are perfect. Excellent quality, work perfectly, fold nicely when not in use. I use the work one daily and the kitchen one a couple of times a week. I use the kitchen one for cookbooks and recipes. but it would also easily hold a tablet. I also like that it is plain with no writing and made of wood! Looks nice when in use.

i use for puzzle books and many more items. my pads and phones have air circulation also,a plus.
