I've been using a different brand/version of microfiber cloths to remove make-up and mascara for a few years now and find that it's best for your skin (no soap required), quickly swipes away even mascara, and reduces how much product I have to travel (and how much gets washed down the sink into the water table). (Also, fewer plastic bottles. When I saw these - in black - I thought, great! The ones I've been using are pink and even though it doesn't effect how they work, the mascara stains just look bad. Turns out that besides being much less expensive than that other (unnamed) brand, these are much softer, work just as well, and come out of the wash (don't put in the dryer) in better shape. I suspect they will stay nice longer, too. In this kit you get a handful of the disks (best just for eye make-up) and one full-size mitt for a very reasonable price, plus a bag. Once you switch to using clothes and get rid of all those products (face wash, eye make-up remover, astringents, etc.) you'll have simplified your life, done the environment a favor, and discover that you didn't need all that other stuff. Your skin will look great (and your clothes won't look tacky because you can't see the mascara stains!). There were three questions on the review, and I only gave 4 stars to the "easy to use" one because even though I do not have large hands, I find the disks (for eye make-up) slightly less than perfect. I don't know if making them a tad bigger would be better, or if they were square. But that's the only reason. I'm not dissuaded. When my wear out I'll be buying more (and probably as gifts for house guests, too).

I used to use these fancy and expensive Shiseido cotton pads and never again. I used them because they were super gentle on my skin compared to any other cotton pad I had ever used. These are as soft if not softer and infinitely more durable. I looked all over amazon, etsy, and did a google search in general and for the price, quality, and amount of product you get this is your best bet. They washed and dried so well. The only thing I could maybe even complain about is that the washing bag is a little small. I actually washed them in one of my delicates bag instead. But this is trivial. The bag is just a bonus. I’ll use mine to store the used ones until it’s time to wash them. They’re absorbent without soaking up all the product and leaving none for your face, and they gently took off a clay mask faster than just hand washing. Also, bonus mittens!!!! So clutch.

FINALLY! For years I've tried different things to remove make-up. I finally ended up using throw-away micellar pads for eye-makeup that kind of worked and a norwex cloth to remove the rest of my "face". It worked...but I hated using throw-aways every day...and while the cloths clean well, getting my foundation off of it took more work than cleaning my face. This set is FANTASTIC! It cleans better than the too-small, too-thin throw-away pads, and is big enough to clean my entire face with the same dash of micellar cleanser, and it rinses clean. The fabric is just plush enough to clean well, but incredibly gentle. I just wash them with my dark wash every week. I still buy micellar cleanser (it is awesome...try it if you haven't, because mascara and eyeliner come off without having to rub hard), but at least I'm not throwing stuff in the trash every day...and the "cloths" always look clean because they are black to begin with.

All you need is water and it removes all your makeup! I find myself using these all the time, I get excited to take off my makeup at the end of the day just because they are so soft it’s soothing after a stressful day. I have already washed them and don’t see any issues with the tread, fading, or staining. Totally recommend this for anyone that’s wanted to get reusable makeup pads! Saves money not in just wipes but makeup remover too.

TL;DR buy these to be more eco-friendly, free up bathroom storage space, and ultimately save yourself money. I use micellar water daily and was going through disposable cotton rounds very quickly. I love that these are reusable and more eco-friendly! I recently went on a trip and it was great not having to stuff 10 cotton pads in my makeup bag. I was also pleasantly surprised when I was able to remove (light) under-eye makeup smudges just by adding a little water to the pad. I'd have given 4.5 stars if possible...and this would have been 5 stars if the pads were sized more similarly to the disposables, but realize this is a personal preference. Pros: - fast drying - black doesn't show makeup - soft and doesn't pull sensitive skin (ie. around eyes) Tip: - you may need to cleanse twice if you're wearing a lot of product

I bought these pads in black to not seem as grossed out with how much makeup I take off and not have anxiety about cleaning the makeup stains off of them. My makeup has a shimmer in it so I can see it on these, but that is not a problem. I use coconut oil on these to take my makeup off each night and they're soft and work great. The mesh bag that comes with it is very nice for washing. I do not recommend washing them without the bag unless you count how many go in the washer first. They find a way into the smallest spaces and get lost or gross. If you use a front loading washer they like to slide into the inside lip during the cycle and soak up all the gunk that gets in there so use the bag :) I cannot stress this enough.

I like these a lot. I wet one and noticed it shed a little so I was disappointed at first. I washed them (which I was gonna do anyway) and the shedding stopped. I keep the rounds in a cup and keep the mesh bag hanging on the hook my robe is on and when I use one, I throw it in there. When I get through them, I throw the bag in. The laundry and they're all set. I use them to wash my face and with makeup remover. I love that you can't see makeup stains, they rinse out easily,and dry quickly.
