Cool design, weak glue
The sponge broke off the plastic bracket within a week. I have a Scotch-brite dishwand whose sponges last 3-6 months! After drying out the sponge, I glued the Libman back together on its white plastic bracket using Goop plumbers glue (from Home Depot, that cost more than dish wand itself). So far it is holding together, but then I am also scrubbing less vigorously than I am accustomed to doing with the Scotch-brite dishwand. Unfortunately, obtaining Scotch-brite cellulose-only sponge refills for their standard dish wand is becoming difficult, if not impossible. I search eBay for hoarders selling old product. Scotch-Brite seems to be pushing its foam-rubber sponge with green scouring pad, which I loathe. A plain sponge is more effective at wiping a dish clean than scratchy plastic; I also do not care for the abrasions caused to plastic or metal dishes and stainless flatware by Scotch-brite's scouring-pad surface. To remove cheese, baked-on food or other stubborn residues I occasionally use a soft plastic scouring pad. Libman still provides a cellulose-only sponge product (in round or rectangular shapes) which is why I sought out this product in the first place, to replace Scotch-brite sponges that are apparently discontinued. My prior experience with Libman's products was disappointing in that the screw cap leaked all over the place when wand was stored on end, which is messy and wasteful. This current product's cap seems to be tight enough to hold the dishwasher soap even when diluted with water. Now if only the sponge would stay stuck. Libman, please try using Goop Plumber glue or similar strength glue in your manufacturing.

Simple and effective
The sponge/soap dispenser worked nicely until the sponge fell away from the plastic backing. This happened with the original and as well as two spares. I liked it enough (and was reasonably priced) so I ordered another sponge refill and so far no detachments. It works as effectively as more expensive Oxo dispensers but with a simpler design that doesn't leak when stood upright.

It broke on the first use.
So I was excited about the size and the shape of the Libman dish sponge. I was excited because it was made in America and wasn't supposed to leak. So on the first time that I tried to use it the sponge tore off.I returned it, got a new one on which the sponge end partially tore off after a couple of weeks.

its a great asset when washing dishes
With the dish washing liquid in the handle, its a great asset when washing dishes. This product keeps you a bit further from the action, yet gets the job done. I love this one and the one with the rectangular head.

Two Stars
Glue doesn't hold

I'd give it no stars if I could
I bought two and both sponges already fell off. I'm not an aggressive washer either. The worst part is there doesn't seem to be refills available so you have to buy a whole new scrubber.

Super Product
These dish sponges are super sturdy and durable. Good price. Especially like being able to stock-up with refills and other Libman products which are not available in my area. Highly recommend. Shipped quickly too.
