Great value, higher capacity than OEM, and a 3-year warranty.
I purchased this battery to replace the original Samsung battery in a Verizon Galaxy S4. I enjoy playing a few games and the original Samsung battery got so bad that it had to be re-charged twice-a-day. This replacement battery fit the phone properly. As a bonus, the old OEM battery was rated at 2600mAh (9.88Wh at 3.6v) and this replacement is rated at 2900mAh. This replacement will run the phone longer than the OEM battery. Per the seller's instructions, when the new battery is installed, do not recharge it. The battery will arrive with a partial charge (my new battery was at 60%). The new battery should be allowed to fully discharge before you plug the phone in. After that, also per the seller's instructions, the battery should be fully discharged and re-charged 4 to 5 times to ensure the best performance. I tried to follow their instructions to the best of my ability. I allowed the battery power to drop to less than 5%. Then, using the Samsung charger that came with the phone (also seller's recommendation), I charged the battery to 100%. For the first 5 charges, I resisted the urge to plug the phone in before the battery was at less than 5% and always recharged to 100% before un-plugging the phone. This is supposed to "condition" the battery. The battery life got a little better from full charge #1 to charge #5.I've been using the new battery for about 2 weeks now. The phone is working perfectly. In my opinion, the new battery lasts longer than the original battery ever did. With my typical usage, I was usually down around 30% at the end of a typical day (when the OEM battery worked normally). With this new battery, I'm usually at around 60% at the end of the day. I believe that people who had trouble with this battery either had a bad phone or didn't follow the conditioning instructions provided by the seller.

Mine is like 4 years old
So, both myself and my mother have Galaxy S4 phones. Mine is like 4 years old, hers is like 2 years old. I replaced my battery once a couple years ago with a genuine battery. It worked fine for these 2 years now. But, my mother was having issues with very little battery life. She was thinking of getting a new phone. I saw this battery had good reviews and was just $10! I got one for my mother a few weeks ago. She used it and said her phone lasts more than twice as long now! My battery was also getting a bit old and not holding charge as long as I liked. So, I figured for $10 I'd get one for myself too. I can say, wow, what a difference. When my phone used to be under 50%, I would think I had little to no time left and had to kind of be in a 'power save' mindset until I had a power source. Now, the battery drains more consistently, and, even under 50% I have tons of battery left! If you have a phone that uses this battery, give it a go! It's working great for me now and it was just $10! I will update my review in the future if this battery gives me problems, but, if it lasts even a year, I call that a great deal for $10 and it extended the life of my old phone!

Great Customer Service
With my S4's original battery, my phone got to a point where it would turn off even if it showed 80% charged. It did this whenever I was using the screen for more than a couple of minutes. I bought this replacement battery in May 2018 and was thrilled with my phone once again. No more crashes even down to 1% battery level. I bought this battery because the reviews were decent enough for the price (there doesn't seem to be any superstar batteries out there) and because of the warranty. My phone has performed great these past four months; however, three days ago (Saturday Aug 8, 2018) I woke up to find my case was popping off. The battery had swollen. It wasn't being charged that night, so I don't know what to make of it.I found the contact info for the seller ([email protected]) while checking Amazon reviews/questions, so I emailed photos of the battery just before lunch and got a response late in the evening saying they would replace the battery. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get the battery to me on Monday the 10th! I guess I'll see how this one goes, but all in all, I'm happy with how the seller took care of me.

OK - but doesn't meet claimed capacity
Its ok but it does not live up to its claimed capacity spec.I did the 5 times discharge/charge cycle and logged the times of each cycle and so I was able to notice a SLIGHT capacity improvement - about 25%. This did surprise me since I understood that although this practice was common for NiCd and Nimh batteries it is not supposed to be needed for Li ion.So - on the 5th charge I measured the amount of charge it took and from the phone's indication of 0% to the "fully charged" light came on was 2410 mAhr. Leaving it on charge I was able to get that to 2476 before it just stopped taking a charge. This is BELOW the 2600 CLAIMED for the OEM battery and WAY below the 2900 claimed for this battery. Now in all fairness - I have never done this same test for the OEM battery - and this battery does SEEM to last longer than the one it replaced - still "going by the numbers" this is what I measured.

I am returning this battery because it hasn't been good for me or Frank
Ok, this is too strange. Can someone tell me if this is even possible? I put this battery in at 6 am this morning, then my phone started calling a number at 10am that I did not have in my contact list. It called this guy, "Frank", about 4 times today--right up until 6pm!! The really strange thing is that Verizon checked my call log and although my phone log doesn't show that I dialed out, they are seeing a number dialed out of my phone to Frank but it is a totally different number than mine--like a three-way call almost. The screen also goes black when I hit it with my finger so I can't see anything. Verizon told me to factory reset my phone, so I took out the new battery and put my original one back in. I haven't had any issues yet with the old battery. I am returning this battery because it hasn't been good for me or Frank. Please, if someone knows why this is happening, I'd appreciate your input.
