Extended length gives you much more room to work with, handling is easy and really works on all styles and brands of cuffs. There are a few downsides: The pocket clip is not as sturdy as the key and not only rotates on the barrel of the key, but is easily bent away from the key so it will not hold the key in your pocket. Secondly, with the long length it is hard to find a pocket to store it in that the pocket clip will not get caught on clothing. Several times a coat or seat belt will catch the clip and bend it. It will bend back and hold up to more than one bending back into place, it is just a hassle. The overall length and ease of use more than make up for the clip.

The absolute best for a front pocket handcuff key. The length is usually an advantage, but there are a couple situations in which it won't be. I would say one time out of ten I need a short key, which is why I keep one on my belt. If you're dealing with a twisted up combative this could go either of two ways. But by and large I love this key and I'm grateful I have it.

Great to have for safety

These things are great. They seems to be of very good construction and feel really good in the hand during use. They are easy to use with the longer length, but are difficult in constricted areas. Probably the best key I’ve ever used.

Some the best products only products I trust

I love it! The key works great and the extra long feature makes it easier to use. I would recommend it because the shorter keys makes it difficult to release the handcuffs, however this product is awesome.
