Durvet Permethrin 10%, 8oz

All the hype about " pyrethroid resistant" bed bugs is mainly just noise, unless you overuse this stuff. This permethrin drops bed bugs fast.. just like the title states. Fact is, even dish detergent soaks through a bed bug's exoskeleton and kills it within a few seconds, so wasting a lot of money on very expensive chemicals really isn't necessary. Yes, permethrin has an odor similar to other petroleum products, but it gets the job done, and is a wide spectrum pesticide that kills basically any insect that is crawling. Save your money and go with this stuff. Edit: About 3 months ago.. we brought in a rescued kitten, and apparently the kitten brought with her a hoard of fleas. Along with cars comes the very common flea problem! Since I already had this permethrin concentrate sitting around... I gave it a try, and this is my conclusion from the results: After spraying the permethrin, I realized that whenever it is wet.. it's effective, but once it dries, it has next to no residual power... Only direct knockdown power. I found that once I treated my blanket with a stronger ratio, the fleas left us alone for the night, and if they were to crawl in the blanket .. they'd die from the permethrin piercing into their exoskeleton. You really should use a residual concentrate called Conquer mixed with an insect growth regulator if you want to defeat a flea colony, but this permethrin is a great repellent. Pest control is a learning experience, and I invented my own truck to make this permethrin residual as hell. Take some vegetable oil in a glass bowel (permethrin washes from glass very easily) and mix in a strong ratio of permethrin. Apply that oil/permethrin mixture to a paper towel and spread it along your borders of your home. Now that the secret is out... You have a residual permethrin insecticide! That's the only difference in residual VS non residual sprays (the oil) companies simply add in a light oil that's usually too light to hold the chemical in place for the advertised time. I sincerely hope this helps anyone out there that is actively fighting the battle against these parasites! This is hands down 👇 the best permethrin that I've ever purchased and tends to last long.

Works really good. Haven't had an issue with ticks or creepy crawleys coming into the house. Will continue to purchase.

This isn't the brand I normally use but decided to try it and am really happy with it. I use it on my dog . She's had trouble with mites lately and this works better than other types of treatments. Has a really strong chemical smell but all Permethrin does so don't be alarmed. BE SURE to read the instructions on diluting it. DONT USE FULL STRENGTH.... I'll buy again next time Im in need.

It is really annoying to see all the reviews on this product that say the bottle wasn’t full. The bottle is not supposed to be full. It says 8 ounces, and they shipped the bottle with 8 ounces in it. It has a pre-measured receptacle on the top that you squeeze to fill. That would not work very well the bottle was completely topped off and you would then have people complaining that it spills when they squeeze it to fill the receptacle. Sometimes you just can’t win with some people. That being said, this does work very well, and even all the comments about the smell that are not justified considering it is a petroleum distillate product and smells accordingly. It’s no worse than kerosene or diesel. The smell does dissipate after a couple of hours at which point the effectiveness does drop off. The fumes will actually run off the fleas, but in order to kill them, you do have to make sure that whatever you’re putting it on, becomes fairly wet with the spray. If applied properly, it works.

This is a very good product I have used for years. Kills bugs, it just have to dry and you can be around it. Safe for animals. Easy used just get a sprayer and dilute as directed.

At first I see it was to liquid then almost the half of the bottle liquid missing no leack they just not filler up full and I wanted return so badly but then at final I decide give a chance so I opened and wow very strong smell.. so I spray back yard and my surprise was this thing work do the job! I heaven’t use on the cats bc I feel smell is to strong and they will not tollerate even me just to spray I got headek but I don’t care to many feral cats here and flea are festing … so I forgive you the half bottle missing but next time I will return if the bottle is not full, thank you so much for the product very good quality

I have not used this yet. I tried to leave feedback concerning leaky container, but with no success. An ounce of product had leaked into the box. Certainly smells like it will work. It did arrive very promptly.

I have been buying this product for a long time and let me tell you it works so good. For reference I have dogs, chicken and cats. I very like this product I think ir works and if you use it correctly it last a long time.
