You will need a type c power supply. Works great
Worked great on my Switch. You do need the power supply cord standard type C. Also you will need an HDMI cord. Great for travel. When I hooked a fast charger to this it charged and played same as our traditional dock.

Works with the Switch 2 after a firmware update
Out of the box not working for the Switch 2. They claim in product description they have a firmware update that will make it function again on Switch 2 latest system update (21.0.0). You have to contact them to get the updater though, which I have done, just waiting to hear back. I will update this review once I hear back and confirm the firmware update allows it to work with Switch 2. Update: Support got back to me after a couple days, they provided an image with a link to the updated firmware. After running the tool on Windows with the dock connected, the Switch 2 works properly.

Didn't work for my Switch 2
Didn't work for me on Nintendo Switch 2. Received a new Switch 2 for Christmas and thought I would give this "dock" a try on a TV in one of our other rooms but nothing happened. None of the TVs I tried found a signal. I used different HDMI cables to rule that out. I used the original charger that came with the Nintendo.

So Far So Good
This is just what we needed as the switch dock that came with our sons swicth was super bulky and always seemed to fall. This one was perfect to connect to our tv. So far, no issues. Small and compact, but sturdy, and plays and sounds well through the tv. Definitely a good deal for the price.

Works on Switch 2 ONLY AFTER firmware update
This would get a five out of five stars if it worked right out the gate. But as you see with the other reviews, a lot of people claim it doesn’t work. It actually does, but first you need to contact the seller, ask for the firmware update download link, run the firmware update with your Windows computer, then plug it all in. The major problem in all of this is waiting for the seller to reply back to your contact. Fortunately for me a little Reddit searching “To anyone attempting a firmware update for their RREAKA Switch 2 dock” and I was able to find someone that shared the download link for the firmware update. Of course, the whole firmware update program is not in my native language so I wasn’t sure what I was clicking on, but I remembered it being intuitive enough. I’ll share one more piece of advice; put your stitch screen down when you plug this in. That’ll make sure that the intake vents on the back can pull in air and have the heat exhaust out the top export. Another alternative is to put the switch in a little stand, but that kind of defeats the whole portability of this dock replacement..

Love it
Lost a wire and this connects it to my tv perfectly. Very easy to use and good quality.

Perfect for road trips
We got this as a travel setup for our road trip, and it honestly worked better than expected. The kids were able to play in the car without any issues. Setup was quick, just plug and go. It connected easily and the picture quality was clear and smooth. No lag, no random disconnects, nothing glitchy. It’s also way more compact than the original dock, so it didn’t take up much space in the car.

Not Just for Nintendo Gaming console.
I use this cable for my Steam Deck and for streaming from PC to Tablet. I love the color and its easy to trace when I need to unplug. This cable is very durable and is under $20 . it also can work with a USB power cable (not included) and has a lengthy warranty. Will buy another next month for my gaming PC .

Funciona perfectamente en la switch 2. Eso si, primero debes actualizar el firmware del dock(lo conectas via usb al pc, descargar el software de la web del fabricante y actualizar) y debes buscar una fuente de alimentación.

Wir nehmen die Switch oft mit in den Urlaub. Mit diesem Gadget ist es möglich die Switch über ein HDMI-Kabel mit dem TV im Hotelzimmer zu verbinden. das funktioniert problemlos und erspart das schleppen der schweren Dockingstation im Koffer, die sonst im Urlaub keinen Nutzerwert bietet.
