Samson's Hair Regrowth Serum (Deoxyribose (2dDr) 1% formula) (60mL)

I’ve been using this product religiously for about 4 months now. The formula is super easy to use it doesn’t make my hair oily, which can be a struggle for me. I noticed thicker hair after about 2 months of daily use and finally saw new growth after 3 months!I am definitely going to keep using.

Did not work at all for me, I think it caused even more shedding and hair loss on the front of my head. The smell and texture are ok, I like that it isn't oily, but I doubt there is anything in there to help with the hairloss.

Working great on my, use to be, patchy beard. I've just started on my hair after seeing another review say it helped strengthen the hair too.Got what I need out of it and maybe even more now

I had high hopes for this product and ended up trying it for two and a half months: unfortunately, rather than seeing hair growth, I experienced the opposite – hair loss. Yes, hair loss. Like I’m sure many others, I was excited about the study on frontiersin.org “Stimulation of hair regrowth in an animal model of androgenic alopecia using 2-deoxy-D-ribose” that showed using a solution with 2dDr was as effective as minoxidil on MICE. Based on that promising study, many manufacturers have come to market with hair serums with 2dDr for HUMANS. The problem - as I’m painfully aware with my hair loss from this product - is that we’re not mice, and there haven't been ANY studies done on people. These manufacturers are praying on the vanity/emotions of people losing their hair, and I suspect making a ton of money doing it. In hindsight, I should have looked more closely at the 5-star reviews of this product, such as the one with the impressive before and after headshots and noticed that review was the ONLY review from that person. As a matter of fact, pretty much all the 5-star reviews are from “people” that – surprise – have only reviewed this product; certainly, very suspicious. I do think that 2dDr shows promise, but human studies need to be performed and peer reviewed. Until then, just know that you’re a Guinea pig with any 2dDr product and be prepared to be disappointed.

I’m seeing a definite change in my hairline after two bottles. I even noticed a few new hairs after the first bottle so I took a picture. I’ll take a few more pictures and post them as I see more progress.Unlike minoxidil or other treatments that increase blood flow, the hypothetical mechanism behind 2dDR is that it actually grows blood vessels. This means it provides a longer lasting effect. Your hair won’t fall out immediately after you stop using the product.Btw, save yourself $15+ by using the subscription option on the 2-bottle set. You’re going to have to commit to at least 2 bottles to see an improvement.

Too soon to know. It's not practical to think I'd notice any difference before a few months

Did absolutely nothing for my hair. In fact I noticed more shedding. I think it's way too thin, it should be more of a gel.

This product is amazing! I have searched for hair restoring products for years. My hair started thinning and I had noticeable bald spots. (Thanks Mom and Dad) after about 2 months my hair is much thicker and healthier looking and new hair is growing! Not only is my hair coming back, so is my confidence. I will be forever grateful to Sampson’s and am a loyal customer for life!
