The Strange Works of Taro Yoko: From Drakengard to NieR: Automata

Taro Yoko?
I thought his name was Yoko Taro. That's how I always heard it in the gaming world. Is there a way you're supposed to write the names of Japanese people that I'm not aware of? For example, if I was writing a book about Yoko Ono, would I call it "The life & Times of Ono Yoko"?

Excellent read!
Any chance to read about the creative process and thoughts behind some of my favorite games is exciting. Well worth it!

An interesting read
Really cool for nier, drakangard or just Yoko taro. If you're ever confused on the nier/drakengard story, it is laid out really well here.

Great Information but Reads Like a Textbook
First, let me say that I enjoyed this book. I am a big Yoko Taro fan and I learned a lot of information that I was not aware of. The book itself if heavy and well made. It also has a bookmark ribbon to hold your place. The book is separated into three chapters - the development of the games, the lore, and finally, my favorite, which is the analysis of the games. They were all great chapters. The only critic I have of the book is that it reads like a text book and the reading can be a bit dry.If you are a Yoko Taro fan then get this book. It will give you more insight on the games and what Yoko is trying to project.
