I use this twice a month. It's so easy to use and takes less than 20 minutes. Gets rid of my gray hair from the root area. Last me 2-3 Weeks.

This product is so easy to use. The box comes with instructions and everything you need, including gloves! Just squeeze the 2 products together into the plastic bowl and mix. The brush applicator makes it easy to work the color creme into your roots and around your temples. My grays are stubborn, so I leave the color in for 15+ minutes, and all my roots come out looking beautiful, black and so shiny after I wash and dry my hair. For those wondering, the color does come out in the tub when you're washing the color off, but it's easy to rinse away. I lay trash bags over my bathroom sink and counter while I'm coloring to protect from accidental drips, but it's almost not necessary because the product clings really well to the brush, so there's no splattering. This is the first at-home hair coloring product that has worked for me. I have tried one or two other products before that didn't cover my grays. This coverage is excellent! Since I have to touch up my roots every 5-6 weeks, now instead of going to the salon and spending $70-$90, I only spend $7, and with the savings, I can pamper myself with salon highlights, a professional cut or a mani-pedi! I like this cos it’s effective and the least hassle when doing touch ups on the roots. I have tried the blue black before, natural black and the brown ones as well. I have dark/ black hair and so I realised if I do medium or lighter browns, the dye would not cover my grey roots as much so it’s more effective to go darker. Unless if my hair is highlighted or dyed a lighter color before, then medium browns are the best to make the grays look more natural as they lightened over hairwashes. Black hair just make the grays stand out more.

I just wanted to throw a review in because I almost skipped buying this from the negative reviews talking about the color of the product. I took a chance on this because this color (dark brown ash) wasn't really available in local drug stores. I had used dark brown in the past but wanted to see if this was a closer match to my natural color. The dark brown product mixed up as a medium brown color so I was surprised to see this product mix up as a really light cream color. I applied it anyway figuring worst case it turned my greys to blonde and I would have to run out and get something else. I was pleasantly surprised to see that as the product dried it turned a nice dark brown ash color. Don't ask me why the ash brown and black colors mix up platinum blonde but they do and it's not a red flag or a reason to package it up and send it back. I gave it 4 stars because while the product claims to be a permanent color, I find that it washes out over time and I have to reapply more often than if I was only reapplying on new growth. It does last through several washes so it's good enough for me.

This was very easy to apply, pretty quick, didn’t give me a headache and lasted a little longer than others. Will order this again.

Work good on my hair take away the grey hair

Since I have gotten older of course I started to get much more grey than I would like. I use to go to the salon and pay $45.00 and up to get my hair colored. After going for many,many years I decided to try and do the color myself. I used a couple of different brands for men but I was not getting a complete coverage. And since I have dark hair, white is hard to mask. I decided to try, which many stylist of course never recommend, Clairol Nice ' n Easy Root Touch Up. I have to say this works great. It colors my hair perfectly and talk about saving money. I have been using this product for quite sometime now and it does not seem to damage my hair and the color last a good 2 weeks before I start noticing the grey. To mix the color is really simple. I would recommend getting a professional color brush and mixing bowl. It's much easier to mix and put on. Since I do get haircut every 3 weeks. I don't have to worry about overlapping the color. If you have long hair I would recommend only coloring the roots and not all your hair. donif you want to try to color your roots at home I would defiantly give the one s try.

Quick and easy to use. Does the job perfectly

Great coverage for white hairs, the best thing about this product is that it stays on the hair so you only do the retouch on the newly grown hair, you don't need to do the whole length like with other products that fade in a couple of weeks. The black matches my hair perfectly so I only do the white hair patches and sometimes only use half of the product for one quick touch up, I love it, it's the only one that stays forever and doesn't transfer on your hands and clothes.
