Excellent, quiet, wet/dry vac
Really easy to maneuver and the BEST thing for me is the noise is half that of my old shop vac. And its just as strong. I never heard of this brand but i read a review and took a chance and I'm glad i did. Very very pleased . The only fault I've noticed is that stuff jams at the canister intake. But i expect that's going to happen with any unit and it may be a result of the way i use it. In any case it's easy to unhook the hose and unclog the intake.

Waaay overkill for the man-cave
But I should have bought it long ago for the garage and outside tasks. I used this new one to clean out three old and noisy hand-me-down shop vacs before their trip to the graveyard. This one works so much better for the heavy duty stuff, sucks up all manner of things I don't want it to. It's great!A couple of cons:1. The handle will unplug while pulling it up steps. Doesn't matter now, I bought a much smaller vac for the house2. The hose is merely okay. I kept an older and more flexible hose that fits fineOther than those 2 minor things, it is so far so good. The 'Beast' is powerful and comes with more attachments than I'll probably ever use. Overall, I'm quite happy with it.

Suction and easy to move around!
Much better than a Shop Vac! This baby has suction and looks so chic. Great for wet or dry vac. I got one for both my daughters for Christmas. Extension hoses can break easily if you press too hard on it but the company was quick to send me a new one as one of my original ones cracked.

Good value for the price, needs some attention
Decent shop vac for $170, the price I paid in April, 2023.What I like:- good suction power, works well with my table saw and miter box for dust extraction. Has a dust bag and a circular filter- lots of pulling power for floor cleanup- long cord- screw port for water release- 2 1/4 inch hose has a lot of pulling power- water and dust capable- convenient tool, hose and wand storageWhat I don’t like:- the assembly instructions absolutely suck- the front swivel wheels have some sort of “beeswax” looking product pretending to be bearing lubricant. The front wheels don’t turn well. I removed the yellowish wax with shop cleaner and replaced it with Lubriplate lithium grease. Vast improvement in rotation!- the hose could be longer- be SURE to use the foam filter properly. It’s for wet use only. It goes over the intake base, NOT on top of the pleated paper filter and it’s ONLY for water use!- there is a mysterious chain under the vac that is not discussed in the manual. It’s a static discharge chain. Dust + rotation = static electricity in the stainless tank. The chain acts to ground the tank and discharge the static electricity.- could use a power tool “auto on/off” capability. But I bought a $50 switch that does that and it’s 15 amps.- only 1 front wheel locks. See the photoOverall, this is a solid, budget wet/dry shop vac. It replaced my 40+ year old Bosch 10 gallon model(See the photo) that was dying. You can spend a LOT of cash for a shop vac these days and this Vacmaster is a good compromise between functionality and stupid money for ageneral use sho0 vac.Hope that helps!

Sucks good
Very good quality. Large wheels make it easy to move around. More suction than shop vac of same specs.

Great Vacuum
I bought this for several uses, including vacuuming sludge out of the AC condensate line outdoors. The vac works great and has plenty of suction. When putting the large wheels on the axle I noted that the clips fall out holding the wheels on when using vac. You will need to replace these clips with better clips, cotter pins, or even a long bent skinny nail. Installing the wire hose holders had me scratching my head. They do not go in the lid clamp area, but in the top unit way above the base. This is a good vac for the price range. I’d say it’s medium duty. If I was a serious contractor, using it continuously,I’d buy an expensive commercial vac for $400.

Vacuums get worse every year don’t they?
It’s performance is just adequate. If anyone thinks this is a great vacuum, they have little experience with shop vacuums.1) It’s impossible to make casters cheaper than this. Don’t use the brake on it or it will break. And be sure to lubricate them, because they will barely swivel out of the box.2) hose at the attachment end will become detached from its plastic housing. They use 1” of hot glue to hold it in place from the factory.3) there are slots on top of the vacuum head for the attachments - right where the hose coils up. You might think you will put the attachments in the bag, but you will learn to hate that. I moved the power cord brackets higher on the handle to help with this.4) The suction is just ok. For the love of God vacuum manufacturers need to use a true 1800W motor.I bought this at $145. It’s just an ok deal at that price. Any more than that - no. You are getting a poor value.
