Arrived with a dent in the wire seemed cosmetic only. Seemed to work, but turns out it causes display errors and black screen issues. Edit: company made me whole. Be cautious of even small dents in the wire when you receive it, they can cause the whole thing not to work.

Bought it for 5090, not a noticable difference compared to 4.0 but it works as intended.

I have a Cooler Master NR200P V2 case which forces you to use a vertical GPU position and comes with a PCIe Version 4 riser cable. I bought this cable for two reasons: first, my motherboard and graphics card support PCIe Version 5 connections so this cable allowed better compatibility and more bandwidth for my components. Second, this longer cable allowed me to move my two-slot graphics card to the outer most slots in the case. This created a larger gap between the motherboard and the graphics card, improving cooling - especially for the NVMe SSD connected to the motherboard (right above the PCIe slot). I had no issues with this cable - it worked flawlessly. I left the UEFI (BIOS) setting for the PCIe slots set to AUTO.

This was absolutely necessary for a SFF build w/ a RTX 5080.
