Not the best quality...but great great service
Yes, this crimper is easy to use, however... The crimping teeth that press down on the pins in the RJ45 were not properly aligned in my crimper. I had nearly every cable I made with pin 8 still sticking up. I don't usually check to see if all the pins are pressed down, as I have never had this issue with any crimper I have ever used. As a result of the pin sticking up, I have ruined a perfectly good cable tester as the pin bent the contacts in the tester due to its abnormal height. Edit: after posting a 2 star review, I was promptly contacted by the company who offered to handle a return, or whatever it took to make it right. 5 stars for excellent customer service.

Perfect for my needs at a school.
Easy to use and well crafted. I tried to scrimp in the past but found that things didn't line up properly - connectors would slip, insulation strippers would be too hard to control. This tool was easy to use from the get-go. I gave it only 4 stars for "value" only because I suspect there may be less expensive tools available, that may be just as good, but trying to scrimp has burned me in the past so this is still the best one I've had.

Don’t waist your money!

NO INSTRUCTIONS
Just got this crimping tool. I opened the package only to find that there weren't any instructions provided to show how to use it to make a crimped connector. Seriously?

Works perfectly
I have always been terrible at making CAT5 connections. With this I got it right on the first try.

Fair for the money
Seems to be working OK. You get what you pay for, so I gave it 4 stars. It's in no-name unsealed card packaging, and the product and the supply of plugs had fallen out loose in the padded mailer. No instructions provided. When stripping your Cat6 cable, squeeze the handles together gently, not a hard grasp, or you'll graze off the insulation from one or more of the inner wires and damage the stripper blade too.
