Excellent value
Yes, it makes my printer make a little extra noise (it’s happened every time I replace with generic and I don’t know why but it’s been years and it’s still a workhorse), but this works PERFECTLY in my HP laser jet pro m277dw. I print a lot for work (A LOT) and I’d say this refill lasts about a year-a year and a half. It will still read like there is ink even when it needs to be refilled, but you can shake them up again and get another couple of months out of them. Highly recommend.

I hope it's ethical to say that these are absolutely amazing
So I was actually prepared to lose our investment ordering these, because a very long time ago for another printer we ordered a knock off brand and they did not work at all. But bottom line we could not afford the 298 dollars for new ink cartridges. We don't use these for a business, we use these for printing off learning pamphlets for our children. We are living paycheck to paycheck and it was either going with these cartridges or scrapping the whole printer.I was a little tense loading these into the printer because they looked a little bit different than the original HP ones...and I'd never replaced the HP ones and the whole process was intimidating. I was sure it was going to leak everywhere when I pulled the little plastic tape, but nope! The yellow one smelled a little like rat urine so...I'm not sure if that had to do with the ink, but I was thinking in my head - nope, this is never going to work, when do knock off brands ever work, and how could it work being 1/5th of the price. What's the catch?Well, the next thing was turning on the printer and the HP software quickly alerted me these were not HP cartridges. I thought...this is going to be it, at this point, it's going to stop everything and I won't be able to print a thing. But no, I was able to print, and it came out in the same color to me. I don't highly scrutinize the exact tones of colors, but from what I could perceive the color was the same. And the children, the intended audience, didn't notice at all, if there was any variation with the color. I am too lazy to check this as it is not an issue for us. One thing was clear to me is that the colors were definitely not off in the way a person would think the colors would be off 10 years ago - like blue is printing out green or anything. Maybe some artist somewhere can tell that there are some nuances in difference but for us we were like WOW, it WORKED!I don't know if we've done something unethical though. This is my only hesitation. Buying these knock of brands probably hurts the HP company. I met a very nice engineer who was laid off from HP about 7 years ago. But that is just the thing - he was laid off. The company clearly did not respect its employees. So if I thought that the company was spending the difference between 60 dollars and 289 on its employees, and on making sure the product stayed functioning and competitive, I would consider more seriously saving up over a year or something enough to buy the fancier ink, thinking, at least this company is using this difference to pay its local engineers, and to provide for families, and to build the kind of world I want to live in. But knowing full well HP laid off those people with total heartlessness makes me feel like I would just be a fool to pay HP 289 for their extremely expensive ink, which does not have the increased associated worth with it. In short since HP does not show this type of charity to others, why invest in them even if it's the original product made by their employees. But overall this experience also made me a little sad. I sat staring that the printer that I know was built by hardworking engineers with high attention to detail. I would have liked to buy the ink that would have supported those engineers, and their families, because ultimately the printer is an HP printer. Sadly, buying or not buying the ink does not support the actual hard workers at HP, just the heartless people at the top of the company. There is no way to help the people who actually brought us the printer. And so its a bit of a half hearted victory. Yay, we have knock off ink from China that works as well as the American counterpart. But the actual innovators and people who sacrificed their lives to make this possible will probably never see the recompense they deserve this side of heaven. And in that, there is some sadness, and now it sort of affects my printing experience. But the ink is great.

Revised - Terrible Toners - Awesome Customer Service
REVISED: After my not so great review, customer service reached out to me. They replaced the toners free of charge and the replacements work great! Very satisfied with the great customer service and toners.I went with everyone’s review stating the product was great. Within a few days the toners were leaving marks all over my prints. Do yourself a favor and just buy the name brand.

NOT WORTH IT FOR THE LONG RUN!
I bought these toners in January 2020 and this is the first time that I use toner that is not genuine HP for the cost that is much more accessible and with its excellent reviews here on Amazon. For the first 5 months of use I would have given 4 stars for the print quality, longevity and 5 stars for their cost. However with all this leakage I am forced to give 1 star! You might ask: Why haven't you returned it? Unfortunately, I did not keep the original package, making it impossible for me to return the toners. ( always keep the original packing for a while in case you need to return the product)I don't have much use for color printing but I need to have them so that my printer can print in black. After 8 months using the toners I noticed that the 3 colors started to leak. First yellow within 6 months of use, then magenta and then Cyan right after. I understand that the cost of the product is exceptional compared to the original, but is worth it? Not for me! Now I have to send my printer to a technician who will clean the internal parts and replace the toners for a 4 genuine HP ones. The real truth here is that : "You get what you pay for!" If you can afford, stick with genuine parts.

It is affordable and lasts but…
This toner is very good for the frugal buyer. Be aware that being a knockoff product does have shortcomings. My prints get freckled with the different colors. I’m unable to be absolutely it is a fault of the cartridge, but it only began to happen with this replacement. If you are not printing legal paperwork. It was still worth the $300 savings. The toner cartridge does occasionally click. It is annoying, but doesn’t appear to be hurting the printer.

Company stands behind their product
Less than two months after I installed the black toner cartridge, it started having a vertical strip on the right side of the page. I contacted the company through their store contact information and they gave me some troubleshooting steps to try and fix the problem. When those troubleshooting steps didn't fix the problem, they shipped me out a replacement cartridge very quickly. I was expecting a full week through snail mail, but got the replacement it 3 days. Printing is working great again. This is my second set of cartridges and this is the first hiccup. Value Toner did a great job and I will continue using their products.Side note about Amazon: This would have been even easier if Amazon didn't have "intrusive automation." I first sent a comment through Amazon to the Value Toner and noticed several hours later that Amazon had rejected the message instead of forwarding it to ValueToner. This required me to login to my account, find my order, find Value Toner's store, find the link to contact Value Toner, etc. Not cool Amazon. If you are going to automate everything, make sure it works. This was a message to Value Toner about a verified purchase. You should be making my life easier, not adding unnecessary steps to a simple task.
