I'll give this a solid 4 stars. I feel the word professional is a stretch. Arches is my usual preferred watercolor paper. This is very absorbent with minimal warping. You have to really load it down with water to see any warping and when it dries it flattens back out. Nice, slightly rough texture and heavy for sure. For the price point I think it's a decent deal. I could compare it to cansons cold press but with closer to the adsorbancy of the bee watercolor paper which is love or hate. There is such a thing as too absorbent depending on the project you're working on. I purchased this because I'm a huge fan of this brand and own most of their products. This didn't dissapoint! It also didn't wow me or anything. If you need affordable quality watercolor paper it's a good buy.

This paper for sure compares with Strathmore & Canson 140 lb watercolor paper. It behaves identically, watercolor technique-wise & has the same texture, weight, etc. & all at a much better price! I honestly can find NO difference between this paper & the other much more expensive watercolor papers. It may have a little less tooth, but that's it! Definitely would recommend!!!

Delivery and shipment were excellent. The finish on the paper was a little too hard for watercolor to absorb as well as desired. It worked fine, but seemed to have a slight sheen! I would buy it again, however.

This is cold press watercolor paper. I am new to watercolor painting and bought it for my first projects. I'm glad I found it. I would buy it again. Glad it came as a set of 2 pads of paper.

I am learning how to use watercolors and this pad of heavy duty, awesome quality paper makes it so easy.. I will continue to use this product along with my Color-it Watercolor Brush Pens. Thank you for your speedy delivery as always.
