On the Spot, No-Prep Games for Youth Ministry

The nice thing about this book is that there is no preparation needed for any of these games. The bad thing is that many of these games seem like "filler" games to me, meaning they don't seem like they would be all that fun (although, I admit, I haven't tried those that look boring) but would just be used as something to do to fill a time slot.

As a youth pastor, ice breakers and games are a part of ministry. Though they are not the most important aspect, they still should be done with creativity and excellance.This book is helpful with ice breakers and games because it is made easy! It gives 29 ideas and they are the type that do not require all the preparation. They really can be done with no sweet.The material could be helpful to a youth pastor, leader, or volunteer to ease up the burden of coming up with something fresh and new all the time.We do an ice breaker before Wednesday night service starts and the first game went over well with my group!

I wasn't very impressed with the size of the book, however it you are in a bind and need a quick game it has some fun stuff in it.

I work with Elementary age kids at a chuch. Out of thirty something games explained in the book about 25 of them are very relavent to kids and we have been able to use. It is a GREAT and CHEAP buy. As I said A MUST HAVE for youth and children church workers.

I didn't expect much, however I did expect more than this book delivered.It delivers exactly what it says, on the spot no prep games. But notice it doesn't say fun or engaging.

This has a lot of great ideas. When I read through it I found myself thinking "why have I not come up with some of these...they are so simple". Simple but good. I think my high school kids in Bible study will enjoy these game ideas.

I teach some of the younger kids in my church for Sunday School.. It's great for adding some games into the lesson or for at the end of class to let the kids have some fun.

Excellent little book with some really great games that are very east to understand and to put into practice. Great

More a booklet than a book, i.e. six A4 sheets folded and stapled with a card cover. This made it, for me, slightly disappointing. The games look decent though.

Not a great many ideas if you are a non religious organisation. I purchased for ideas for our village youth club.

Just a few ideas to help with youth group, handy and simple to use without too many props and easily adaptable.
