Starlings Be Gone!
I’m not a fan of starlings, but to keep it humane I went down some rabbit holes and learned that they don’t like green light… (green laser: add to cart.) I thought it might be bupkis that it will ‘train’ them to avoid areas but for the price the only thing i had to lose was my sanity. I can’t possibly sit and monitor the bird feeder 24/7….though my ocd might disagree. Starlings are definitely are affected by it (the other birds don’t seem to notice ) and bonus… I’ve found a new hobby. They’re both slightly charged when they arrive, but when the battery drains they charge quickly with a USB-C Also, they come with a silver Kaleidoscope-ish bit on end but if you remove that, then you have a solid laser. Which I found to be the most fun and effective.

Great product to help tire out high energy pet!
Super nice that it has a USB charger built in! My girlfriends dog will chase the light for hours. Just what we needed to help tire out her high energy dog before bed time! Great purchase for what I needed it for, worth the money for sure. I probably use it 5 days a week for 30-60 minutes or so. Great battery life.

Works well
It works for what I need it for. I'm a school librarian and I use it to point kids in the direction of books while I'm checking others out. Only complaint was that I had a hard time removing the star cap. I simply wanted the plain laser.

Works in the full sun. My dog loves it
I use this laser pointer in the middle of the day so my dog can chase it along the fence. Pointer is extremely bright and can be seen in bright daylight. Be extremely cautious not to shine this in your dog's eyes

Keeps the geese away!
Purchased this laser to keep geese off out lawn and it works perfectly for that! This is a very strong lazer than works even in the daylight. We shine it in the geese eyes and they turn right away.

Must keep depressing button to keep light on
Bought this to use for paranormal investigations and the light is bright and works well. The patterns are nice and work well for what I need to spot anything moving through the area. My only knock, and it's a significant one, is that you must depress the button to keep the light on. You can't just turn it on, like a flashlight, and it stays on. Well, that's a big disappointment as its use will be limited. I decided to keep it due to the price and will have to make due for now. I wish I knew this prior to purchase as I would've looked elsewhere. The description doesn't mention this. Otherwise, it is o.k.

Adequate optical quality but super bright for the price
I'm not sure why anyone would want to shine an adjustable grid of dots. For a party, sure, but with a pen-laser?The front cap comes off and what's left produces a very bright beam. I use it for astronomy, pointing at stars. It looks like a light saber that could slice the moon in half. It's a class III laser, so I would legitimately hesitate to put it in the hands of a stranger that was under 21 years old.Under the "fun grid" cap there is a second cap that contains a small lens. Without that lens the beam is quite wide (not what you would think of for a laser). The lens is there to tighten up the beam. It does a good job of that, but reflections within the lens do cause some artifacts. There is a wide ring around the laser dot.If you care about optical quality, this probably isn't the laser for you. If you just want something cheap that is ridiculously bright, this is the one.

Astronomy tool
Pretty impressive laser. USB to charge it, no worrying about batteries. I did drop it a couple feet onto concrete and it only suffered a slight ding. Very nice to aim at nighttime sky objects as in, stars. Beats using a red laser.
