This item is exactly what I needed. It is easy to install and makes operating the train more fun for the grandson.

now the trains know where they are going

I like the low-profile of this switch and that it matches the tie spacing of my tracks.

Replaced original Aristocraft switch machines. This works much better!

Just what I expected!

I only give this 3 stars because this is the second LGB motor I have had to buy in 12 months for the same turnout.The cable terminal screws are ridiculously small and appear to be made of mild steel as they go rusty.I needed to replace the cable but the screws were so rusted it was impossible to get a screwdriver into the Philips slot resulting in me having remove the motor and take it to my workshop. Even then I couldn't get the screws out and in the end I binned it and purchased another. This time around I have covered the screws in silicone gease, perhaps something I should have done before but I would have thought a manufacturer of this repute would have used brass screws, thus preventing the problem in the first instance.

Good value works great. Works great on my outdoor railway it's enclosed in a model church to disguise it and protect from the weather

just the job

The motors work with Peco points OK. Fine if used indoors but they are meant for garden railways. However they are not really waterproof and the motor magnets rust. Suggest they are serviced every year by cleaning out and spraying with WD 40. If possible take them indoors for winter and refit in the Spring.

Die Schraubanschlüsse sind nicht gegen Wassereintritt geschützt. Ich musste diese mit Isolierband abdecken.Die Löcher für die Schrauben habe ich mit Kontaktfett verschlossen. Die Funktion ist gut.Die Weichenantriebe von PIKO sind wetterfester.
