Unbeatable taste + Good design
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been testing this out for the past month. This is, by far, my favorite way to make coffee at home now.The coffee is flavorful, rich and strong. It only takes a few minutes once the water starts boiling. The bitterness that you normally get with a slower drip coffee maker is completely absent.Unlike the 1 cup espresso maker by another brand that I also own, I find this Moka pot has a better size, and its handle doesn’t seem to melt or burn my hands after sitting on the stove for a while, so that’s a big plus!Wish I finished testing this out earlier so I could have bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents. Will definitely get it for them as a gift for the next holiday!

A very solid Moka Pot choice
I started making cafecito drinks with this Moka pot, and they have been really good. For the most part it's easy to clean, though the base can be a bit tricky. It seems like a very standard design, so I wouldn't expect that to change between brands. The base did discolor a bit, but I believe that's to be expected with a stovetop maker like this. After using it for about a month almost daily, it still looks and makes coffee as new. There have been no leaks, and I'm happy overall with the purchase.

Good value. Parts interchangeable with the Bialetti 6-cup, but not identical to it.
This was purchased to replace a Bialetti that had been allowed to overheat and was damaged. So far, all parts of this "Sisitano" moka pot seem to be interchangeable with the 6-cup Bialetti, but the parts aren't identical clones.Construction of the plastic handle isn't as refined as the Bialetti. There's an obvious mold-seam on the handle of the Sisitano, and the shape of the handle is blocky compared to the Bialetti, and less ergonomic. This isn't readily noticeable in use, but is easy to see if you compare the two side-by-side.A difference of concern is the cup for containing ground espresso. It's much smaller than the Bialetti and holds less espresso. The stem is a smaller diameter on the Sisitano. The stem length is the same, but with the smaller body, the cup clearly doesn't reach down as far into the boiler reservoir as the Bialetti. The Sistano has about 10mm shorter reach down into the boiling water, and this might make a difference.Country of origin isn't marked, unlike the Bialetti which is Made in Italy.Otherwise, construction seems quite excellent -- better than I was expecting. I'd purchase again, despite my concerns that the espresso cup is considerably different than the Bialetti, and might produce lesser results. The beans and grind will presumably make more difference, so spend the savings on those!

You get what you pay for
The aluminum housing is mid-grade. Not the worst available but not too shelf either. The capacity (9 fl oz) is actually significantly less than other 6 cup moka pots (12 fl oz)... By the standard of Bialetti this is only a 4 or 5 cup pot, not a 6.The spout makes coffee bubble over, leaving grounds in the finished product. There is always excess water in the reservoir. The spout always manages to spill a couple drops during the pour. The safety valve is not a pressure pin like the Bialetti but rather looks like if it went off once, the pot would be ruined. The percolator has a rounded edge, requiring more pressure to push the coffee to the top. This results in a bitter flavor. That being said, this thing will not break once assembled. Take it camping. Take it to work. Throw it down a flight of stairs. For $15 it's not a bad investment, but if it's your daily pot of coffee, bump up to $30 and get the name brand.

Fabulous coffee from this moka pot!
After a recent trip to Italy I wanted to experience the amazing coffee I had there every morning. After reviewing many different brands and researching the good and bad reviews I decided to purchase this moka pot. I received it in good time and have not been disappointed! It's so easy to use and the coffee tastes fantastic! The lid and handle stay cool so you can pick the pot up without burning yourself. It's also super easy to clean. I am so pleased with this item and would recommend it to others!
