Blackout Budget Roller Blind compatible with VELUX Roof Windows with size code C02, ‎Grey

I bought this blind to replace a Velux one where the cord had caught and blind no longer went up. This blind is a perfect fit but uses 3 screws on the sides and not 4 like the original. I didn’t get any screws with the blind but used the old ones without issue. Two screws hold the main blind part up and then there’s only the two sides to slide in and screw to the wood - which will need new holes as not in same place as velux fitting. This is a little fiddly but easily achieved by even a novice. The blind works great once fitted. The mechanism is different to Velux but works well, it just slides in the runners and not on a string / cord. To return to the open position you have to angle the handle which you use to pull it down, which took me a few seconds to work out. Do not try and push it up like the Velux ones. Takes a little readjustment of your usual closing motion but works well when used to it. Total time to remove old and fit this blind was 10mins max. Very easy and a nice well fitting result. Impressed and a great price. Truly is blackout too. I bought the standard dark grey colour as it was the same as the old one and is very smart. Only small complaint is that the blind has slight lines from folding within the unit but that’s nit picking and the blind is a great replacement. Seller dispatch is quick and shipping tracked.

Having years of experience of Italian engineering, I was confident that there would be no issues regarding quality and I was correct!Easy to set and attach to frame (make sure you study the instructions carefully) and excellent fit, providing a good blackout screen.Much cheaper than many other manufacturers, but no compromise on quality. The frame is good standard extruded aluminium that is cut to a close tolerance and therefore provides a close fit. The screen and spring mechanism are equally good quality, with simple operation, which usually results in fewer problems.Parts are provided to go with different models of same size windows, mine did not require any of the options, and was fitted within 15 minutes. Other types require a little extra set up, but not much.From an engineers point of view, this screen is well constructed, of good design, simple to fit and looks very neat.

The blind and mount are good quality. There's very little light seeping through, and they fit perfectly.However, the instructions are not only unfathomable, they're actually deceptive - and the videos on the company website show a man with his back to you rather than any actual installation of the blinds.It turns out, they're actually really easy to install. If you've installed one before, it won't take two minutes. But if it's your first time installing a skylight blind, you're going to spend hours trying to follow the unfathomable, misleading instructions.We've just moved to a new house, I've put up sixteen pieces of flatpack, and four blinds (including this one) in three days, and this was the only thing I've had any problems with. It's not like I can't follow a manual, the manual is just the single most incompetent set of instructions ever created since the dawn of the universe. They're even less realistic than a British Rail time table.But again, the blind is fine, and it's really easy to fit once you realise the instructions are a work of fiction, and figure out what you're doing.

Due to the velux sizing, these were easy to choose and fitted exactly. Needed a YouTube video from the manufacturer to ensure they were fitted using the correct fittings; but other than that, simple to fit.The action is nice and smooth. I think they are better than the velux ones, and nearly half the price!

These blinds are great, really easy to fit and are complete blackout which is what I wanted. Would be a 5 star review however the first one they sent was faulty. They replaced immediately to be fair and were really helpful

Fitting this was really easy and it seems a well made product. Very happy for the price.

Bought these a year ago to replace original velux blinds. Easy to install (even easier when replacing velux blinds since they slot in the two plastic tabs are already in place) and easy to operate. Bulkier aluminium frame but much better mechanism. No gap at the end, make sure you don’t push inward when rolling down, that will make the blind roll up.

Prima rolgordijn voor een mooie prijs! Het gordijn is makkelijk te bevestigen: zat binnen een half uur op z'n plek. Verduistert goed en houdt de zon tegen. Het is een handig systeem: je kan het gordijn zover uitrollen als je wil. Het blijft goed op z'n plaats en met een simpele beweging rolt hij weer in. Tweede gordijn voor de slaapkamer ga ik snel aanschaffen!

The media could not be loaded.  Habe mir zwei Rollos bestellt. Die Montage war kinderleicht und schnell erledigt. Zubehör wie Schrauben wurden mitgeliefert.Die Lieferzeit ist grandios. Mir kam es schon fast als Express vor. Der Kundenservice ist spitze - man wird stets informiert, wo und wann das Paket ankommt.Die Qualität ist hervorragend. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht zu toppen. Hochwertiges Aluminium mit einem dicken Textil.Es dunkelt zu ca. 98% ab - da ich das GPU U08 von Velux habe und bei so einem Riesen Fenster hat man einfach eine kleine Lichtdurchlässigkeit an den Rändern.Das schieben ist via Kippmechanismus einfach und fühlt sich hochwertig an.Montageanleitung ist ebenfalls dabei - Dauer ca. 5-15 Minuten - je nach Geschicklichkeit.Leider habe ich feststellen müssen, dass im Textil ein Produktionsfehler war (sehr kleiner Riss im Gewebe). Ich habe mich an den Kunderservice gewandt und hatte zügig eine Antwort erhalten. Eine Ersatzlieferung kam am nächsten Tag bei mir daheim ab die frei von Mängeln war.Großes Lob an den Kundenservice.Im allgemeinen kann ich dieses Produkt und diese Firma jedem ans Herzen legen. Absolut quantitativ hochwertig zu einem günstigen Preis mit einem super netten Kundenservice.Note 1, 10/10, 100%, 5 Sterne ⭐️
