When it comes to any type of ladder, it should always be safety first. This is the first step ladder, I have used many, I have owned that was designed and built with safety in mind. I will name the reasons as follows: it is made from quality materials and avoids the use of plastic at critical structural connections, it is quite wide affording stable contact and room for heavy shoes, the treads are deep and wide assuring that each one is a stable comfortable place to stand, the flip up grab bar allows for three point of contact with the ladder, the treads include ribs for traction in wet conditions, the ladder folds fairly flat for storage, the feet are large enough to grip the standing surface well, and the ladder is lightweight. All that said, the ladder is a little awkward to carry, this is not a deal breaker. It needs a carry strap/stay closed strap. My advice, pay the extra money for this one and stay safe while elevating. Fit for home and professional use

Received this ladder several weeks ago. My wife and I are both 85 years old and, when we need to get up in the air, we need a safe, secure step stool with a bar for gripping on to. (remember what they say. "When climbing a ladder you need to keep THREE contact points on the ladder at all times." This ladder/stool fits the bill. It is heavy duty, a little more expensive than others, nice broad steps, and easy to fold and store. With proper care this 3 step stool will last a lifetime. VERY HAPPY.

At 67 years old, living alone for the past eleven years, am to the point of not feeling safe on average step ladders. In fact, fell off a ladder while trimming a tree. Luckily just missed landing on top of riding lawn mower. Even though I was a little hurt, could have caused some serious damage. Decided to purchase a new one and came across this gem. Am extremely confident every time I use it. Light weight, wide steps, foldable for easy storage, along with top handrail making me feel so safe leaning into it with body pressed against it while reaching up. They also come in different sizes, yet the 3 step is perfect for reaching my ceiling height of 7 & 8 feet high. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a safe, light weight heavy duty ladder. It really is a perfect addition to my household maintenance equipment.

This ladder is very light. Easy to move around and transport. Fits in a closet or tiny space in the garage. For me, I use it inside in residential applications. For my height, when I am on the top step in my boots, the top of my head is just about 0.5 inches from touching the ceiling (my hair is touching the ceiling). I absolutely love this. No more tired arms in trying to reach over my head for long periods of time. Also, instead of having skinny steps that serve no purpose other than accessing the top step. You can easily stand on the first two steps to reach lower spots. It is pricey but the quality of this ladder makes it an investment that will be around for years to come. The retractable safety bar is just a bonus really.

I wanted this ladder for at least the past two years, but I never ordered. I finally bit the bullet after a knee injury and I'm so glad I did. This is a fabulous step ladder and I'm extremely solid on it. I can easily reach my ceiling since I'm tall, but I can also finally reach my kitchen lights and the top shelves of my closets without feeling like I'm unstable. The other good part I hadn't expected was that this slid right into the spot where my ironing board used to be. I've moved the ironing board to a different wall in the closet, so the ladder is closer. I rarely use the ironing board anymore, so it's like it has its own little nook now. My only concern was how easily it flips apart when you try to move it.. I've fixed that by putting a bungee cord around the hinged bit so it doesn't flop. It worked quite well.

This short ladder (or tall step stool, more accurately) is very sturdy and stable, easy to open, and fairly lightweight at 16 pounds. But it's quite expensive, so I expected it to be almost perfect. It's not. It should stay closed when folded. As it is, when you try to carry it, the steps keep unfolding unless they are held against you. Bad design. It clearly needs some kind of latch to hold it together. In addition, the handle should be extendable so you can hold onto it even when on the top step. These are the two reasons why I did not give it 5 stars.

Was reviewing past purchases to see if any had prime day discounts in case I wanted to reorder simething & came across this ladder purchased several years ago. Soooooo glad I bought it. So much easier to climb than it's predecessor (also a little giant but a different design) with nice deep steps & it's very easy to open/close. Both of the ladders are sturdy & I trust them, but this one is the one I reach for time & again.

Schnell geliefert - Positiv wenig Verpackungsmuell. Die Leiter ist wie angekündigt. Sie lässt sich wirklich sehr leicht aufstellen und die 3-stufige ist perfekt für 2,5m Deckenhöhe. Ein sehr sicheres Standgefühl. Sehr bequem die breiten Stufen. Auch die Ablage in dem Bügel ist sehr praktisch. Wer sie hat gibt sie nicht mehr her! Zwar ist der Preis sehr hoch, aber dafür ist sie auch perfekt gemacht und wir hoffen dass sie auch lange hält.

Les marches sont larges, facile à déplier et à replier. La rampe de sécurité est rassurante. Parait de bonne fabrication. Un peu lourd mais le poids était bien indiqué sur le site. Livré avec trois jours d'avance sur la date annoncée !
