The taste is pleasant and works well. I take a teaspoon before bed and I think the "raft" the brown seaweed makes, keeps stomach acid from going up into my esophagus at night. I only taste the berry flavor. I also have the head of my bed elevated about 6 inches. There is a little melatonin in it to help with sleep, but only 1 mg. I also take 6 mg of melatonin at night to help strengthen LES. Also helpful is RefluxGourmet's yummy Vanilla Caramel Rescue. Take 1 teaspoon after meals to have the "raft" on top of your food, to keep it from going up. It lasts for 2 to 3 hours, then is digested.

I write this at 3AM. Not only am I not able to sleep, but am having worse reflux than I've had for weeks and am in pain from this product! I expected it to hold back reflux, but it hasn't. And while it helped me get to sleep on the front end, I wake every night a few hours later with very bad reflux and can't get back to sleep. This product burns on the way down when I swallow it, too. I had high hopes based on the reviews and even the doctor's recommendation, but it doesn't work for me and it's not returnable. I tried the RefluxGourmet brand and it works wonderfully for me, so I'm sticking with that. I wanted to try this one to help me get to sleep, but I'm losing sleep because of the intense reflux this causes!! Ugh! I wish I could get my money back!

I bought this on the suggestion of an influencer who says it really helped her. For me, the taste is terrible. This berry flavor is all that is available and I don’t like it at all. The gel also has a grittiness to the texture which makes it extra hard to get down. I tried the caramel flavor if another brand which is MUCH better…and that one does help with my acid reflux. I won’t name it here but it’s also available on Amazon.

It helps but is way too expensive for what you get.

Lil is all I need. Works.

Beware. I took it. First night I felt drugged. Next night I ended up in the Emergency room.
