I lost all of my equipment in a house fire. When it was time to replace my pinpointer I decided not to get another orange $20 special. Looking here on Amazon, i scaned the ratings and reviews and chose the Hazlewolke Pinpointer. It wasn't $20 but it had features that put it out in front of others that were more expensive like Garrett and Minelab pinpointers.My pros:Waterproof to 10' and that should be sufficient for creek beds or sandy beaches where a splash or two won't damage it.Rechargeable with the included USB C cable in a USB chargeing port. It has the feel of quality and substance at 11 oz. It has a built in LED light with 5 brightness levels. I don't detect at night but in an overly shady area it should help with seeing down in a hole. The LCD display is not huge but it is easy to read the 3 user controlled settings and charge level. Others have mentioned the two buttons used for On/Off and Mode changing are a little stiff and I concur that they are but not to the level that they are bothersome. It also comes equipped with a lanyard, pouch and a rubber shaft mount for easy storage. It can't be stored in there when it's turned on. It senses the metal shaft.My first time turning it on was startling because it sensed my wedding ring immediately and gave me a strong and surpriseing vibration responce. The sound is also strong and noticeable. I haven't put it to a daylong test yet but the short outings have made it a pleasure to use. The modes and sensitivity are adjustable but I haven't had any ground interference to warrant me taking it off the Max setting.My only con if it is a con, is stiffness of the buttons which should soften after some good detecting outings.Overall , I give it a 5 star rating because I can't give it a 4.5 star.The price is acceptable because of the flexibility of controlling all aspects of detection to pinpoint the treasures I seek. I think you will find it a great value for the extra money.

Just arrived and I'm very, very happy with the product. It looks and feels like something that would cost much more, appears to be very well built, and I'm looking forward to using it when it gets a little warmer. I'm relatively new to metal detecting and this was recommended to me by someone I met on the beach last fall. I'll update this review after I've used it a couple times, but just after messing around with it in the yard so far I'm giving it 5 stars!

Super sensitive. I have to put on one out of nine in settings. Really.

For the price a really great pinpointer compared to other brands at 2-3 times the prices.Easy to use right out of the box.Looking forward to put it to use.

This tool is so handy in metal detecting and pin pointing where the object is once you did the whole. I love that it beeps as well as vibrates.

Sorta pissed I gotta drop this type of review, cause it’s built really well & detects super good!!….. but idk wtf it starts to go bonkers , and won’t come back to working normal again on its own !!… I’m forced to shut it down for couple secs, and turn it back on for proper operation again…
