Replacement pots separate just fine!
My first order contained pots that could NOT be separated. After multiple efforts to get the retailer's contact info to see if there was a trick to separate the pots, no contact info was available at Amazon. Amazon agreed to replace the original ones instructing me to send the originals back. The replacement set works very easily & is a helpful addition to my instant pot supply for reheating or cooking meals in full. I was frustrated with original set, but the replacement set is awesome. Amazon totally worked it out for me.

Great for Pot in Pot cooking!
I've had my set for a little over a year now and couldn't be happier. I've cooked pounds of rice, and gardens full of vegetables in them. They've held up well and work great. No burns, no sticking. I've even recommended them to friends. One small tip. If you use both at once, do not nest them. The bottom one must use the flat lid with vents. I made the mistake of nesting them once without thinking about what I was doing. Everything cooked fine, but when the pressure was released the top pot was pressure sealed to the bottom pot and I had a heck of a time getting them apart :) I highly recommend these.

Pot in a Pot cooking is going to add extra time to the cooking process.
Overall, i think this is a neat idea. To make this dinner took as much time as a frozen 11lb turkey breast in the Instant Pot, and I started with Thawed chicken. I did discover that I made a few mistakes which would have reduced the cooking time. For starters, don't put the pots onto a trivet, put them directly into the liquid. That would have shaved off some minutes. Also, the picture with the pots sealed up with the lid on, I used the wrong lid. there is a steamer lid that comes with it, that I should have used for the sprouts. I love the idea of being able to cook a meal like this so I am not giving up on it, and will get around to trying again correcting the errors I made on my first attempt.

Had a big problem...
I was so looking forward to using my pans... I made hot Italian sausage with peppers, potatoes, and onions in one and mild in the other. I put put them in my instant pot and set it to pressure cook. When I took them out, they were stuck together! My husband and I tried for 3 days to her them apart with no luck. We researched the internet and tried several different methods to release them but nothing worked. We ended up having to throw them away. I had very high hopes but was very disapointed. Maybe some instructions or tip sheet could be sent with it. It would really help a noob like me.

Good, but Warning: Stacked pots & tempurature changes = Stuck pots
These are great to use individually, and I've used one with steamer lid and a different bowl on top, and the sling is just the right size for the Pyrex 7 Cup round containers. If you stack them, the difference in temp and air pressure cause the pans to be vacuum sealed together, and the bottom pan just keeps cooking and destroying food... There are a dozen ways to get around this, but I have an Instant Pot so I don't have to take 5 steps. If you put potatoes in the bottom and a ~4min high pressure food in the top, you could probably find just the right way to leverage the seal "problem"

Fantastic inserts
This is the first time I bought a product on Amazon that had zero reviews. I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality of the steel used in this stackable instant pot insert. It fits perfectly in the instant pot. We use it almost everyday. One thing to call out is that if you don’t close the wire holder properly, it will get latched onto the instant pot lid and you will be unable to open the lid. It takes a lot of finangling to get the lid to open. Do make sure to “close” the wire holder fully.

Great for my instant pot
I ordered these stackable pans for my instant pot. I have the 6 qt model. They fit perfectly and work great for making rice or noodles separate from whatever else I am cooking in the instant pot. The rack is great for easily inserting and lifting out the pans. I am very happy with these steamer insert pans and recommend them. The price was reasonable too. They can be used singly or together.
