I was skeptical of this case, as I have tried super thin cases previously, and they either don’t fit great or break super easily. Specifically, I have tried Peel cases previously, and they were already chipping paint within a couple days. However, this Benks ArmorAir case seems to be much higher quality - the fit is perfect, it feels good in your hand, and it has held up really well. It may just be my new favorite case. It obviously isn’t intended for lots of protection, but I prefer the bare phone feel and look anyways. Highly recommend if you like that minimalist design but want some protection against scratches and falls!

Super sleek and feels great in hand! This is definitely for the minimalist who values aesthetics over drop protection. Very solid quality, premium feel, and extremely lightweight. Cutouts are perfect and just an overall nice case for minor scratch protection.

If you're considering to buy either the Benks Armor Air case or the Pitaka Ultra-Slim for your iPhone, I HIGHLY recommend the Benks case over the Pitaka. They are both ultra slim and leight weight, made of the same Aramid Fiber/Kevlar material, the high build quality is the same, and both have the same soft but grippy feel to them. They look almost identical on and off the iPhone. I've used the Pitaka on two iPhones for over the past 8 years and thought I'd never get anything else for my phones. The only gripe, but a big one, is the edges of the cut-out sections are very sharp which makes holding the Pitaka uncomfortable more often than not, but I put up with it. After a while of holding your phone with the case on is your fingers get sore in places. I've heard of this complaint from others as well. I recently purchased an iPhone 16 Pro and decided to get the Benks case instead. Its edges are not sharp or uncomfortable at all -- they're actually smooth and rounded. I'm very happy that I found the Benks. I see no differences in its quality and material compared to the Pitaka and the Benks is $10 less than the Pitaka. It should last a long time and still look great. Do your fingers a favor and get the Benks.

This case is incredibly lightweight. I adore the “naked” phone feel, offering sufficient protection against scratches and minor damage from moderate height falls. The texture is smooth yet provides enough grip to prevent frequent drops. I believe it’s better suited for indoor environments. If you spend a lot of time outdoors or in nature, I’d recommend a more protective case. The lips are slightly raised at the corners, so if you’re concerned about your screen’s integrity, I highly suggest using a good screen protector. Benks offers some excellent options. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for a minimalist case.

Thin and lightweight case which makes it have the naked feel on your phone. Hopefully it protects the phone properly. Good quality product. UPDATE: Screen protector cracked easily with this case on. Will be returning the product.

I want a case on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, but I don't want it to add a lot of bulk. This is a perfect case for that. It's a great minimalist, lightweight case for my phone that adds virtually no bulk and feels great to hold. Real Kevlar Aramid fiber, unlike many other, cheap cases that claim to be of that material, but are just plastic with a pattern. It supports MagSafe, too! This case fits like a glove and seems very durable. (We'll see how it holds up over time.) I've had other Benks cases, and I've always had good luck with them. I don't tend to drop my phone, so I'm not looking for heavy-duty drop protection, but this case, in combination with a screen protector, does give me piece of mind. If you're looking for a stylish, lightweight case for your phone, this is definitely worth considering.

The BENKS ArmorAir 600D case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max is a solid choice if you’re looking for a minimalist aramid fiber case. It’s very similar to Pitaka’s offering and comes surprisingly close in quality. The fit is excellent, and it feels so slim and light that it’s almost like you’re not using a case at all. MagSafe strength is decent and works well for everyday use. That said, this is definitely not a case for those seeking drop protection. At best, it will prevent scratches and protect against very light drops. This case is more about preserving the sleek look and feel of your iPhone without a bulky cover. One drawback is the front screen protection. The case doesn’t provide much of a raised edge, so if you place your phone face-down, your screen (or screen protector) will likely make contact with the surface. Additionally, while the case is well-made overall, there are minor imperfections in the bottom cutouts, but for the price, it’s forgivable. I’d love to see future versions offer more color options and possibly a soft interior lining to help prevent scratches. Overall, this is a no-frills, stylish case that’s perfect for those who prioritize aesthetics over heavy-duty protection. A solid 4/5!

I have been using Pitaka cases for years, dating back to maybe the iPhone 7. I had the Pitaka equivalent of this BENKS case on my prior phone. I opted against Pitaka this time because they have added a large and less than subtle "Pitaka" to the back of their cases for iPhone 16. I will say though, the Pitaka cases I have had are better than this BENKS case. The grip is better, the fit is better, it is slimmer, and even the look (ironically BENKS is actual Kevlar) is better. That said, the BENKS is very good, just a notch below in all of the areas I mentioned. In terms of protection - well I hope not to test the BENKS anytime soon but I suspect it is on par with Pitaka - which in my experience was very good (for table height drops). If the branding doesn't bother you - go Pitaka. If it does, the BENKS if a solid #2.

Buena funda, sin llegar a ser excelente. El material se siente de buena calidad y bastante rígido pero muy delgado, casi da la sensación de no tener nada el teléfono. Como puntos malos es que no cubre nada la pantalla pero eso es de esperarse en una funda así de delgada por lo que uso mi teléfono con un protector de pantalla, le doy 4 estrellas porque se mancha mucho con la transpiración de las manos y siento que eso le quita vista.

It fits perfectly, soft at touch and impressively thin. On par with the pitaka cases online, more importantly protects all the relevant points of the phone.
