Ricoh SP 211 A4 Mono Laser Printer

Having used a Ricoh camera at one time, I was confident that the item would be of good quality, which it definitely appears to be, i.e. sound construction with good functionality, being well finished with a smart look. Having read several reviews on Amazon I was expecting a few snags with setting up, however, the set-up could not have been easier and more straight-forward - 5 minutes max, start to finish (Windows XP). A CD is included which contains a Manual, drivers, and necessary software. Two mains cables (two pin, and UK 3 pin) and USB lead are included. The cartridge was already fitted, so all I needed to do was to load up some paper - having read reviews I was prepared for the need to adjust the paper tray: two adjusters are slid across, and the back of the tray is pulled out to enable loading of A4 paper, the adjusters are then slid back into place. Very simple. The printer sounds smooth in action (unlike the clatter of my ink-jet) and produces a really nice copy - every bit as good as my inkjet, possibly slightly better. At this point in time, I really can't fault this machine, and I think it's an absolute bargain. Having looked on the Ricoh website I suspect the SP 211 has been replaced by a new model, but as long as I can get replacement cartridges, I'm not at all bothered by that - particularly as the machine comes with a two year manufacturer's warranty. One of the things that drew me to the SP 211 was that the cartridges are good value compared to similar machines. If I get around 600 sheets printed from the included Ricoh cartridge, that will be around the number I would get from a HP XL cartridge. On that basis, the Ricoh printer has cost me nothing. The SP 211 is not wireless, but if like me that doesn't bother you, and you want a smart looking printer for black work only, then grab a bargain. The printer was even delivered a day earlier than the earliest date given. 10 out of 10 on all counts!

this printer is a pain, I got it since 2 month and I am not able to use it ! I am good in IT, worked in the customer service in IT department and I am unable to install this blood* printer easily, I already spend more than 2 hours to find a solution for this printer to be recognised by Windows 10 ! Printer is good apparently, but comment are false, surely false comment left by the Ricoh Uk staff. A printer should be recognised straight away when connected on the USB port and this is not the case, so you need to install manually the driver but be careful if you are not at least AN IT INGENIEER, surrender and don't try to buy this cheap printer ! I will try to be refunded even if it is to late to sent it back. I will contact as well Ricoh support but I am doubting they will be of any help !! To recap, don't do the same mistake, don't buy this printer. By the way no wifi

I bought this speculatively at my mum's address as I needed a quick fix to print out probate forms and various letters under rather sad circumstances. Now that I'm home I've ordered a second machine, as my fourth inkjet (like all the others) has died due to the neglect of not printing a sheet or two every week. Honestly, you won't find better than this for 30 smackers ... and well reviewed 2600 sheet capacity toners seem to be available for 24 quid. The printer is sturdy and well built, accepts about 100 sheets in a closed drawer, there's a bypass feed and straight through for heavy card. Really it feels like a piece of office kit from the days when I was usefully employed ! My Win 7 set-up off the disc supplied went without hitch, done in five minutes. Print quality is great too, beats any inkjet especially as its water-fast. Slight niggle is that on a long job (50+ sheets) it seems to get too hot and put creases in the odd sheet ... I need to check this again as I'm sure the fed paper was smooth ... but never had an issue with up to 15 sheets. The one big negative is that the printer is currently being delivered by Hermes (not in this case the messenger of the gods), so forget Amazon Prime or the next day delivery you paid for ... be prepared for a real headache before it eventually arrives !

First of all, definitely value for money. Less than £30 paid for a laserjet printer seems impossible. Pros: It is easy to set up and print quality is brilliant, and it takes quite small space. Cons: Instruction manual is not so good, which uses other model as an example that results in some misleading. Only usb connection is possible, there is not wireless configuration. Also it is a bit odd that It provide too many power cables. Overall I like this printer, it simply meets what I expected. Well done, Ricoh!

This Arrived on time. I'm not an IT geek but this was a doddle to set up on windows 10 just read the instructions prior to connecting and powering up. Printed out one of the read me pages from the printer start up window quality is good, tried a couple of photos looked ok but will delve into it further. I was concerned regarding the various leads that would come or not with it so was pleasantly surprised that it came with the European 2 pin lead and two 3 pin leads one inside and one outside the box. Having read previous reviews regarding the paper tray extension out the back and the black plastic cover for this I did not have any problems as to where bits went so thanks to those reviewers. Overall a nice bit of kit and on initial usage would recommend this printer.

Llevo casi dos años con ella y me ha funcionado perfectamente. Solo he tenido problemas puntuales: - Una vez no imprimía porque parecía que no le llegaba el documento del ordenador, apagando y encendiendo funcionó. - Cuando imprimo a doble cara (no trae función por defecto, pero es tan sencillo como imprimir las paginas pares, vuelves a colocar los folios en la bandeja con la letras boca arriba e imprimes las paginas impares) me arruga algunas hojas como se ve en las fotos, no se si es problema de los folios, el toner, la impresora o que hay que dejar enfriar los folios antes de imprimir por la otra cara. - Solo funciona en ordenadores, esto no es un problema propiamente dicho pero tengo otras impresoras que puedo imprimir desde el móvil conectándola por usb, en este caso al ser un modelo poco común no encuentro drivers y no funciona. - A veces al imprimir muchas hojas seguidas salen algunas con poco color (foto 3), no se si es porque le va quedando poco toner o que se calienta, pero yo la dejaba descansar unos minutos o 1 hora y después volvía a imprimir bien. Cosas positivas: - En calentar y empezar a imprimir tarda poco (20 segundos), después imprime rápido, yo creo que cumple lo de 22 paginas por minuto. - Al ser toner no hay problemas por dejar la impresora sin utilizar durante meses que cuando vuelves imprime perfecto. - El toner imprime bien hasta casi la ultima hoja, puede que alguna salga con poco color o media hoja impresa y la otra no, pero es mejor que las de tinta que por lo menos en mi caso salían hojas mal impresas desde antes de que se acabara, porque se secaba o que se yo. - La duración del toner no se si llega a las 2500 hojas pero en mi experiencia he llegado a más de 2000 seguro.

Ricoh SP 211 Mono Laserdrucker (1200 x 600 dpi) Angeliefert wird der Drucker im Original Karton ohne weitere Kartonumhüllung. Dennoch ist der Drucker im Inneren optimal geschützt. Überraschend war gleich zu Anfang, dass die Verpackung so angelegt ist, dass das Herausziehen sehr einfach zu bewerkstelligen ist. Die sehr stabile Kunststoffumhüllung ist mit Henkelschlaufen ausgestattet gleich denen von Einkaufstüten. Damit lässt sich der Drucker ohne Probleme entnehmen. Das Auspacken, Aufstellen und Entfernung der Stabilisierungselemente ist innerhalb 2-3 Minuten erledigt. Es sind nur noch die Papierschublade auf das erforderliche Maß einzustellen und zu Fixieren und die leicht zu entnehmende Tonerkartusche herauszuziehen und gut durchzuschütteln. Nach Einlegen der Set-up Disc verlief die Installation problemlos und schnell dank der sehr einfachen und extrem leicht verständlichen Anweisungen des Assistenzprogramms. In weniger als 5 Minuten nach aufstellen des Gerätes hielt ich meine ersten Testausdrucke in der Hand. Der Drucker kommt in Anbetracht von knapp 40 Euro (inklusive 700 Seiten Tonerkartusche) sehr hochwertig und fast schon "Schick" daher und sieht alles andere als billig aus und fühlt sich auch nicht billig an. Er ist relativ leise und die Druckgeschwindigkeit überrascht zudem. Die Qualität der Ausdrucke ist Spitzenklasse und lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Qualität zu dem Preis ist unschlagbar. Ehrlich. Ich bin vollkommen davon überrascht, welch sehr hohe Qualität zu diesem Preis geboten wird. Nichts klappert, knatscht oder quietscht unangenehm. Über den Bypass bzw. Einzeleinzug bekommt man genauso gute und scharfe Drucke. Zudem ist die Schubeinstellung für die Papierbreite des Bypass super leichtgängig und vor allem auch stufenlos auf das jeweils erforderliche Maß einstellbar. Es wurde auch an kleine Details gedacht wie zB. die 2 kleinen Hängevorrichtungen, die das Papier beim Herausfahren aus dem Schacht Niederhalten und daran hindern davonzuflattern, der leicht herausziehbaren Bremszunge oder auch die Staubschutzabdeckung für die nach hinten ein wenig herausstehende Papierschublade, wenn man sie für DIN A4 passend auseinanderzieht. Zudem lässt sich die Schublade auf überlange Seiten einstellen. Dem Gerät liegen eine komplett Mehrsprachige, leicht verständliche und gut bebilderte Anleitung bei. Auch eine mehrsprachige und logisch bebilderte Kurzanleitung (für die Installation und Einrichtung völlig ausreichend) sowie eine CD mit Assistenzprogramm das einen blitzschnell zur Installation verhilft. Fazit: Meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als nur bei Weitem übertroffen und ich kann dieses Gerät deshalb wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wer einen Einfachen und günstigen aber trotzdem qualitativ hochwertigen Laserdrucker sucht, wird in "Neu" zu diesem Preis nichts auch nur annähernd Besseres finden. Hier noch ein paar Hinweise für eine problemlose Inbetriebnahme: - Falls man kein USB-Druckerkabel zu Hause herumliegen hat, unbedingt eines mitbestellen. - Darauf achten alle Transportsicherungen (blaue Klebestreifen und Schaumstoffverkeilungen) zu entfernen. - Papierfach Justieren/Fixieren und Papier einlegen. - Die mitgelieferte Installations-CD verwenden. Anweisungen des Set-up-Programms unbedingt beachten. - USB Kabel erst nach Aufforderung verbinden und auch erst nach Aufforderung des Assistenten das Gerät einschalten. - Eine ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung inklusive eventuell auftretender Fehlercodes als PDF Datei befindet sich auch auf der Treiber CD.

Perfecta impresora para aquellos que han escarmentado con las tradicionales. Siempre está a punto, y al ser laser no tenemos el problema de la tinta seca y los niyectores atascados. Para los que imprimimos de vez en cuando es primordia esto, que siempre esté lista para imprimir y no nos llevemos sorpresas. Imprime a una gran velocidad, con gran calidad, y los recambios compatibles se encuentran desde 20€. Solo imprime en blanco y negro. El toner de prueba (para unas 400 pçaginas) puede durar más si activamos la función ahorro de tóner. Siendo conscientes de que se trata de una impresora para imprimir documentos, nos ofrece grandes prestaciones a muy bajo precio.

La impresora como tal está bien y tiene un buen aspecto y un inmejorable precio, pero cuando leí lo de "Compacta" esperaba algo pequeño de un tamaño para encima de una cajonera, pero no es demasiado grande para denominarla "compacta". Debido a ello la devolví y compré una HP Laserjet P1102 monocromo y esto si es compacto, cabe en cualquier sitio porque es muy estrecha. Es mas cara, pero para lo que necesitaba mucho mejor y el toner mucho mas económico.

Acabo de recibirla, instalada y funcionando. Solo me a dado tiempo a imprimir 10 hojas, buena calidad de impresion. Si vale para folios A4, no entiendo a la gente que dice que no vale en los comentarios y no se molestan en leer un poco las indicaciones que vienen en la propia bandeja. La instalacion de los drivers muy sencilla y en cinco minutos funcionando.
