Well Made
Well Made Item, the quality is far superior than other lesser generic products. Unfortunately, AMAZON charged me with customs duty, which in my opinion a little bit misdirected for my country's policy. Customs duty should be effective above USD 50 CIF purchase.

It does the job, albeit poorly
It does the job of providing a M42 mount for my Leica CL, but the screw ring was horribly misaligned. After screwing in my Jupiter 9, I noticed that the lens was about 90 degrees off. I was able to "correct" it by taking a very small flat head screw driver and unscrewing the 3 screws holding the silver ring in place then rotating it along with the lens in the correct position, and then rescrewing it back in. Doing so probably voids any warrantee and scratches up the black finish. The other thing I noticed with the adapter was that the focus distances were off as well. On mine it was about 10cm give or take.

The spacer is blocking the lens which makes it impossible to fouse at infinity.
First of all, seller has zero customer service, no reply to your email or what-so-ever!The spacer/shim has 36mm inner diameter where the lens has 42mm diameter so the spacer is blocking the lens to screw all way in, it makes it impossible to focus at infinity. Rubbish!

Works well, inexpensive, lets you recycle classic M42 lenses
I did an experiment with mounting a 24mm Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar lens on a Leica M2. The Fotodiox adapter fits the the Leica properly. At first, the Takumar lens was upside down, so I had to loosen the little set screws and rotate the M42 thread ring by 180 degrees. The instructions from Fotodiox said to loosen the screws, but my unit came with tiny allen screws, possibly 0.5 mm. Regardless, this is an inexpensive way to use your old thread-mount lenses.

Lenses end up sideways
It's okay. Quality is typical of the other Fotodiox adapters I have -- you get what you pay for, and their stuff is not badly made. This item is similar to the LR-LM adapter I have. The only issue I have with it is that M42 lenses will end up sideways.I *think* this can be remedied if you remove the tiny retaining screws, twist the mount to the next screwmount, and then fix the screws back in. But I don't have any screwdrivers that would fit such small screws so I haven't been able to test this yet. Hence I am giving it 3 stars for now.
