There is a wall In the kitchen, that is a small size (36 inches wide) and also has an electrical panel on it, a timer box and a light switch. I wanted counter space and needed a small shelf unit to store appliances. This unit fits that small space precisely without blocking the electric panel box opening and without blocking the timer box or light switch. The adjustable shelves permited assembly to not block the panel box. The wheels also make it easy to move should that be necessary. Also, added, a fabric shower curtain attached at the top with shower hooks (on 3 sides) to provide protection from dust. It also offers some privacy for whatever is stored on the shelves. I went with a cheap, generic white shower curtain just to try this idea out but, a decorative one would be awesome! It is easy to retrieve items off the shelves when needed. I also considered using it as an 'office' space for laptop, printer, office supplies, etc. With the use of the curtain, these items are not out in the open for visitors to see.This shelf unit is quality built, very sturdy and holds a lot of appliances. If the height is too tall, the top poles can be left off for a shorter shelf. A standard curtain could be used instead of the shower curtain. I highly recommend this shelf unit!! It is very versatile, sturdily built, has wheels and is rated to hold a significant weight.Now that I have had this unit for several months, I find different uses for it almost daily. Today it is being used as a cooling rack for Thanksgiving pies.My only negative comment is the shipping price from the manufacturer to purchase 1 additional shelf. Apparently shipping to Alaska is very expensive.I highly recommend this unit

Item was as described. Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. The wheels make it easy to maneuver and lock works well. The size was perfect for our needs. Made our closet usable for once without a bunch of construction, making shelves.If I ever need another, I will buy this exact one if not a different size. Highly recommend.

Professional grade at a reasonable price for your home! I was tired of having my small kitchen appliances scattered throughout the kitchen, wherever I could fit them in. I traded out an old rolling cart that held just a few things for this complete shelf system, and voila, cleared up so much countertop space in the kitchen. I even managed to assemble this so that there is room to add an additional shelf (or order for $30, includes slip clips to attach and free shipping) from the SevilleClassics website. Once I have that in place, I will be able to add my vacuum sealer supplies, which currently reside in a hallway coat closet. I was able to assemble this on my own (I do have experience assembling smaller versions). Instructions were very clear. The packaging was phenomenal - there was no chance that anything would come dented or scratched. It was easy to assemble and took me about 20 minutes to do on my own, but probably could have been done in 10 minutes (I was recovering from minor abdominal surgery). I chose to skip the wheels because of the combined weight of multiple appliances and one large Maine Coon cat that sees tall things as just another climbing challenge. The wheels look very sturdy and would have made it easier to clean the floor, but stability and safety are my top priorities at the moment. Currently holding: double-stack air fryer, large stand mixer, blender, food processor, rice cooker, waffle iron, ice maker, ice cream machine, panini press, and induction burner. I got the 24x18 inch unit, and it is plenty deep for especially large items.

My plan was to organize a long, narrow hall closet with shelving for folded wool sweaters and beach items and a portion for hanging coats and suitcases. After shopping home improvement websites and not finding shelves in the dimensions I needed for the hall closet re-do, my husband suggested I check Amazon. I did and found these Seville 5 tier steel wire shelves in almost the exact dimensions needed. I wanted shelves with air flow rather than wood shelves with no air flow because high humidity is a real issue in our area. The unit arrived in a large, very heavy box with all parts present. It took my husband about 45 minutes to unpack and assemble and part of the time was spent debating whether to use the locking wheels or just the legs which can be leveled. We decided to level the legs. The wheels, by the way, are heavy duty should one want to move the shelving unit from one location to another. These are heavy, I would say restaurant grade, shelves. No tools are required to assemble these shelves and the assembly fittings are well made and precise. These shelves seem capable of holding much more weight than we have stored on them. If we were going to load this particular unit with heavier items like cookware or entertainment storage, we would definitely secure the unit to a wall because it is tall and relatively narrow and we have the safety of children and pets to consider. We appreciate quality products and we both agree that this shelving unit is excellent - well made, clean looking and sturdy, with a very reasonable price. Thank you Seville Classics and Amazon!
