Exceptional HiFi speakers with no extra boxes required
I was in the market for some new hifi speakers, and these seemed like a bargain but I couldn't find reviews anywhere - even the manufacturer's website doesn't acknowledge that they exist. I ended up picking up a Demon DM41 and Dali Spektor 2s, both What HiFi award winners in 2017, but decided to take a punt on the Tibos for the bedroom. After setting them both up and wiring them up to PC via optical, it's the Denon/Dali that are going in the bedroom ... out of the box the Tibos blow them out of the water! Deep, rich bass, expansive sound stage, clear clean sound and plenty of volume. The Tibos are also easy to set up and place... a power cable and a single speaker wire (included) are all you need to get them up and running - connect a phone or laptop via Bluetooth (AptX) and you have a perfectly serviceable music system already. Use the optical inputs to connect PC and TV at maximum quality and you have a complete HiFi / Home Theatre capable of doing hi res FLAC justiceI might even sell the Denon/Dali on and get another pair of these for the bedroom!

Customer reviews are becoming increasingly unreliable.
Customer reviews are becoming increasingly unreliable. The sound quality is very poor considering the price. I have a set up Microlab Solo 15 speakers which I bought for £65 and it sounds way better than these in every possible way. Now, the set stopped working. Tried contacting the seller but they don’t accept returns! Contacted Tibo awaiting response.Overall; very low-quality sound and stopped working in two weeks. Not recommended at all.

Far better than a Bose or Google speaker
Overall:If you want a minimal system, with better sound quality than the likes of Google Home Max/Alexa type devices or Bose etc can offer, these are highly recommended. An excellent balance between value/convenience/space/simplicity/sound quality. If you have a good amp and passive speakers, these are close, but not a replacement. If you want minimal wires, space saving and decent sound on a budget, then I would highly recommend the TiBO +4.I use these in the bedroom and will probably buy the bookshelf versions for my computer/study.The good:Richer, fuller sound than the portable/compact variants from the like Bose etc.Remote has full range of functions.Room filling sound.Lots of connections (I bought this for my iPhone, so connect with Bluetooth)Everything you need is in the package. The bad:Too much bass (I made a bung for the rear bass ports and turned down the bass on the remote two clicks.Sound can get a little muddled on a complex multilayered track.Speaker grills would have been nice.A fraction of a second of the song plays when I change tracks (like a stutter) before the next track is played, but is fine when playing a playlist or album between tracks.

Excellent service arrived within two days in good order
Excellent service arrived within two days in good order. Have bought tibo plus 2 speakers twice before for gifts for my kids so I knew what to expect from tibo . I wanted a main set of speakers for lounge to play music and replace a 5.1 cinema set up and it does both fantastically ,the bass is deep and rich, the treble is clear and crisp and together provide a great all round sound. Build quality is of a high standard and speakers look stylish. Connectivity is very versatile, blue tooth great feature I access all my music via i pad.

Fantastic budget active speakers
I purchased these speakers on an end of line deal they were too good it seemed to pass up. If you are looking for speakers with Bluetooth, a few inputs, don't hesitate. On powering up using Bluetooth and soundcloud I knew these were keepers, nice bass not too flabby, treble present and not too sharp with a ok to decent midrange.I have a audiophile set up Cyrus amp and W.Benesch speakers and these are definitely not as good but for the price I'll be more than happy to switch them on for casual listening.Going to spike the feet and try hooking them up to my PC and a DAC, I'll follow up review later.(Update) on using a couple of dac's connected via a windows pc playing hi-res and flac files these speakers shine, I'm more than happy to sit and have a long listening session which is all you can ask for from a set of speakers. Well done tibo, shame they didn't come in gloss white.Ps buy some floor spikes, definitely add to me with imaging.

Unbelievable for the price. Thanks to the 2 people that answered my question about if they are a worthy upgrade from a standard system. They are!I think for an all-round music, TV and games audio system you would be very hard pressed to find something that offers so much for the price. They are massively convenient, with loads of features, inputs and a sub-woofer output if needed (not needed though, the bass is boss). The sound is amazing. Massively loud, able to rock the craziest of house parties. Crystal clear with a great sound stage. Even through bluetooth. If, like me, you need a great set of speakers for a reasonable price - get these. If you want a bluetooth, main hifi system - get these. If you want awesome TV and gaming audio - get these. If you want all of the above - get these.Best £200 I ever spent.
