Why did you pick this product vs others?:UGREEN CM-763 Wifi adapter worked for me very well. Better than expected. Windows installer/setup file came built in to the adapter, and Windows installation was a breeze. For LInux installation, I had to jump through hoops and loops (I had to get the Linux installer file from lulian site). Despite Linux installtion was a bit confusing to me, I could not give it less than 5-star; because, of its great value, ease of Windows installtion, and LInux drivers eventually installed fine. Once installion was completed, this UGREEN CM-763 deliered the speed that I was hoping for.[Sidenote: I had bought another Wifi adapter prior to this one, that item was pathetically slow. Amazon took that J##k back.]

I work in a below-ground office. I needed to connect to an Access Point on ground level and the built-in wifi on my PC wasn't reliably picking up signal. This WiFi adapter with high-gain antenna did the trick and now I can reliably connect and stay connected without any issues. Love that the antenna can be articulated for the best reception (like a TV antenna). Installation was a breeze as this adapter also mounts a USB storage device that contains the drivers. I wish all devices did this.

Works pretty good for an extender.

I needed a wifi adapter for my micro desktop. I usually spring for TP-Link or Trendnet as they are affordable, but then I saw this from UGREEN. I've had some UGREEN products in the past and they've been great so I thought I would give it a shot. I love it that I just plugged it in and it worked! The adapter itself doubles as a tiny USB drive that has the driver on it. What a clever idea! The performance has been spot on and its wifi 6 for an extremely reasonable price.

I was immediately impressed with the price and the durability feel of the product once purchased. The set up is super easy, just plug into a USB port in the back of your PC, then go to MY PC and you’ll see the folder for the driver (set up). Click the set up and …boom! Driver is installed and you’ll have functionality of the WiFi antenna.The antenna provides really strong reception for the PC allowing for fast downloads and for me son to play his games without “lag”! He was super pleased at the speeds allowing his characters to move flawlessly and respond very quickly. We’d definitely recommend this product…it’s a really good WiFi antenna and the fact it’s actually plug and play allows you to install the driver immediately because it’s a USB Drive with and antenna built into it. Smart concept and great product!

Make sure after you plug this adapter into the back of your PC, that you open File Explorer and click on the Ugreen Icon that's under devices and drivers. I didn't do this at first and couldn't get the adapter to see any WIFI 6 networks, but after doing that, I connected to a WIFI 6 network and my download speed increased over 4x

Buyer Beware – Caused Major PC IssuesI bought this hoping for a simple plug-and-play Wi-Fi solution, but it caused nothing but problems. Right after installing it, my PC started hanging during boot (stuck on motherboard splash screen), and shortly after, it wouldn’t boot at all. I had to completely reinstall Windows and reset my BIOS to get my system working again.The adapter also didn’t work as advertised — drivers didn’t install properly even after following the included instructions, and performance was inconsistent. I’ve since switched to a TP-Link adapter, and everything works flawlessly now

Works great for my PC. Receives wifi signal with just as much strength as anything (disclaimer: my wifi is much slower than this product's rated speeds,) thanks to the massive antenna, which could be a drawback on certain builds as it does protrude out at least an inch or so, even when folded. Setup was easy, works great, feels solid when wiggled.
