I bought a few starter kits from Plant Theater (herbs, funky veggies, edible flowers, and peppers), and really couldn't be happier. I planted the seeds from all of them a week ago, and half of them have already sprouted and are growing well. I'm a newbie gardener (really green, hah, get it?), and the kits were easy and fun with good instructions. The only thing I would have liked is clarification on how many seeds should go into a starter pot, but I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

I love this kit so much. The herbs are growing great and it's so nice to just be able to walk out on our porch and harvest some Basil or Parsley. I bought a nice hanging pot holder for these and it looks great. Just be aware that Basil should have it's own area because it grows really fast and may overpower other herbs that are near it. This kit has a great variety of seeds that are great for cooking. Very happy with this!

Editing review: To anyone used to traditional peat or soil, be aware that the peat in this kit is very absorbent and retains moisture very well. Don't cover your seedlings to sprout them- make sure you have squeezed out excess moisture thoroughly before planting the seeds and place in a warm, well-ventilated area. I had some fungus issues and problems with the seeds not growing because I am used to germinating seeds differently! The coriander is growing like gangbusters but everything else either barely sprouted or didn't sprout at all. The seller got in contact with me, though, with some tips and is sending me a new kit to try again! Excellent customer service.Original Review: The kit was complete and everything in order. The seeds germinated quickly- within 4-7 days. The soil smelled a little off, and after planting and leaving to germinate on the kitchen table with plenty of air circulation, it developed a bit of white fungus on all of the pots. I scraped it off and stuck them under a warm sun lamp for a few days, and the mold came back again. I'm going to have to wait to transplant them until after they're big enough. I have planted several plants in the climate with my own soil and never had this issue so I'm guessing it was a problem with their compost mixture. You'd honestly be better off buying the seeds separately and using high quality soil/compost and an herbal food pellet.

I ordered this as a gift for my daughter. She started growing the Herb Garden and really is much impressed with it. I would highly recommend this product, and will be buying other Plant Theatre Garden kits in the future. These make wonderful gifts. My order was received on the date requested, and it was complete, with everything necessary to begin a gardening adventure.

The seeds were a few months expired when I received. I cannot speak to the quality as I am an awful gardener.

I love how simple this was to start my herb garden. Hardest part was waiting to watch the little things grow! All but one sprouted within the first few days... Still waiting on the Chives (been about a week). I think I am going to order the other kits. I live in Indiana and we must start our seedling inside so these kits make it easy to plant and re-pot. Thinking about getting one for my niece... She would love to watch them grow!

I got this as a gift for my mom at Christmas, she loves to garden. However, as soon as she planted them they all died and not a single one grew. Waste of money.

Da ich mal wieder auf der ledigen Suche nach einem Geburtstagsgeschenk war und ich was ausgefalleneres gesucht habe, bin ich auf diesen Artikel gestoßen.War mir erst auch unsicher ob es das richtige ist, habe es dann aber erstanden und siehe da, die Freude war riesieg beim auspacken. Alles was man zur Aufzucht der Setzlinge braucht ist in dem Kit enthalten (Samen ;-), kleine Aufzuchtbehälter, Erde usw.). Mittlerweile sind die Samen zu schönen kleinen Pflänzchen herangewachsen und bald bereit für die Ernte.Von mir gibts eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Das Herb Garden Kit habe ich als ein Geburtstagsgeschenk gekauft. Es kommt schön verpackt an und enthält alles was man zum Anpflanzen der Gartenkräuter braucht. Schöne nachhaltige kleine Töpfchen, zusammengepresste Anzuchterde, die mit Wasser aufquillt, die Samen für die Kräuter und Markierstäbchen, was wo drin ist.Es kam beim Beschenkten sehr gut an und ich bin gespannt, ob auch alles wächst. Dann vergebe ich Stern Nr. 5.!
