Why didn't I get one of these things years ago? It took 15 seconds to unlock the base plates from 4 brand new magazines; no pliers, c-clamps or punches. You need to get this tool.

This gizmo is great! Works perfectly for everything I use it for whether it's removing a magazine base or opening a bottle (which is way cool). All my Glock bros had to get one after seeing mine.

Had a little problem at first getting it to work but after watching a video it worked perfectly. I will be using frequently as I have two glocks and more than a couple mags. I couldn't imagine going without this; once you get the hang of it; it's as easy as pie!

This is super easy to use and highly effective. It saves time and frustration modifying or cleaning mags.

This does the job, however it isn't anything special. A precision screwdriver is just as functional with removing mag plates. I assumed this would make it easier but it takes a lot of effort to work.

If you use Glock magazines you know what a pain it can be taking them apart to clean them, especially the 10 round newer magazines using a Glock tool or punch; digging around to find the sweet spot to remove the magazine base. I was able to take apart and clean five magazines in about five minutes. Great product.

I'm a firearms instructor who has owned Glocks for decades. Up until now I have just used a punch/small phillips screwdriver to depress the insert/spring and yank the baseplate off. I recently learned of, and ordered, this tool and a competing design - this one wins "hands down."This tool is simpler & faster. It works every time, first time. Can't say that about many tools, irrespective of price. And this one is inexpensive.

Works great on Glock magazines with the standard plate only. It does not work if the magazine has a Glock (or any other) extension on the magazine. Flat plate ONLY.
