Perfect for small families or couples going to the beach!
I bought this because my wife and I needed a reliable source of shade whenever we went to the beach. It didn't make sense to bring along an entire canopy tent just for the two of us, but we also need something more study than an umbrella in the sand. And it's no fun running around the beach to look for an available palm tree that provides enough shade. Then my wife saw a post for one of these pop-up tents posted on her social media and we decided we would check it out. Suffice to say I am very impressed. It's lightweight and extremely portable. It unfolds in a second and folds back up almost as quickly (once you get the hang of it). It spacious enough for both my wife and I to lay inside of it beside one another headfirst without needing our feet to be in the sand. The protection from the sun is pretty good. I can't confirm if it's UV blocking like it claims to be, but I can say that it does a good job of shielding from the heat. Not to mention that it has "windows" on each of the three sides, so airflow is good. Construction seem quite solid. I saw a couple of other reviews that report the tent has either torn or had its supports snap, but I'm having a hard time imagining how that would happen, unless you abuse it. I guess only time will tell. The only thing I guess one could ask for is a zipper entrance into the tent. This way you could have some privacy to dress/undress, and you could put your valuables inside the tent without them being clearly visible to everyone (particularly potential thieves). But personally I don't mind the fact that the entrance is just wide open, as it allows more air to flow and lets you admire the view of the beach unobstructed. The one thing I haven't been able to try yet is the how well the sandbags keep the tent grounded during a windy day at the beach. But I don't expect that to be a problem since the tent has windows or an opening in all 4 directions, so the wind should just blow right through and not cause the tent to turn into a kite. In any case, I have a beach trip in a couple of days, so expect an update about that.UPDATE: So after a beach trip, I can confirm that this thing is pretty great, but not perfect. As it turns out, this tent needs a zipper entrance for several reasons. The first one I realized it's that it would help prevent sand from getting inside. For example, if you place the open side of the tent facing the ocean, then the wind will frequently end up blowing any airborne sand into the tent, which will be almost impossible to get out. Like my wife kicked out a little bit of sand while walking in front of the tent, and sure enough the wind blew it inside. Now, it wasn't a lot of sand, but that happened pretty much as soon as we arrived. So since the front of the tent is always wide open, throughout the day more sand kept getting blown into the tent little by little, ieither by my wife and II, by people walking by our by the wind itself.AAnother downsideof having the front completely open is that, depending on the angle of the sun, the shade the tent provides can be greatly reduced. For example, at midday when my wife was laying down inside the tent, only her feet were exposed to sunlight. But later in the afternoon, most of her legs were exposed to the sun when laying down in the tent. The reason I make a big deal about this is because the only beach chairs that can fit inside this tent are ones that very low to the ground. This means that, unless you enjoy sitting like a hunchback, the only really comfortable way to be inside the tent is laying down.

Easy to set up but not so easy to put away
I love this beach tent. It made hanging out at the lake much more enjoyable. Texas is hot so having some protection from the sun when I was not swimming was nice. Two people fit comfortably. I am happy with this purchase 😁

Easy set up
This tent has been used for multiple beach vacations and comes in handy. My son was able to nap in the shade with plenty of air flow... taking it down is a bit more complicated but that may be user error lol

Cute tent for beach trip
This tent is cute and I can sit in it with my 3yo granddaughter. Zips in the back but completely open in the front, still nice shade but you may have to turn it to control the shade away from the sun. I watched all the videos but this tent Will NOT go back into the carrying bag included but it does fold down flat and will still be able to pack for vacay. I may put it in a trash bag to protect it.

Saved my beach days!! BUT...
I loved this product! I go to Jersey beaches which are often annoyingly windy and I have struggled with umbrellas summer after summer. I tried the conventional tent that you pitch on the beach as well, but had issues with that too, lol. I wanted something EASY and this was it! I just opened the bag, undid the elastic, and this sprung open. No fear of it blowing away because you're laying on it or can keep your belongings on it. The bottom is sand and water wicking which is awesome!. It is so light to carry and compact in my trunk- I love going to the beach now because of it.BUUUUUT it needs some upgrades lol:-It is advertised as being for 3-4 people, but it can honestly only hold 1-2 people depending on size. This didn't matter to me as I usaully go to the beach with 2-3 people including myself, but it is very small. I am 5'5 and can't really sit up in it either. So I wish it was a little wider and a little taller for a more comfortable experience-On very sunny days (85F or more, idk the specific UV indexes) I had to clip a towel over the top of this because it did not cover the sun sufficiently. On less intensely sunny days, it did a fine job. I didn't mind clipping the towel on but like... I wish it just had enough coverage on its own.-So I read a lot of comments about this before purchasing it, but I do agree- putting it away isn't the easiest. I haven't been able to get it back in the bag it came in since I first took it out, which is a bummer because the bag is even more compact and has a handle. I watched the video from the QR code on the bag, which teaches you how to fold it back up. It's a great video! It took me two tries but now I can fold it up no problem every time. But the video doesn't show her putting it back in the bag lol

Pop up sun protection
This is a lightweight, portable popup tent for wherever you might want a little shade. I take it to the beach to keep my things sand free and set up one small chair inside. It is a little challenging to fold so you should practice at home, until you can do it easily. Once you have the action down it's easy to fold and tuck back into its bag. Practice first before you get into the wind on the beach. That adds an extra challenge. Otherwise it is a good sunshade and a handy place to store your beach bag, lunch, towels, etc.
