This was on sale for $29 when I bought it
$29 for a year of PS Plus? The best deal EVER. After getting screwed with XBOX Live Gold - I actually had to close a credit card because they wouldn't stop billing it after I repeatedly called and ask them to stop - I thought I was done with online game console services for good. When they announced that a paid PS+ subscription was required for online play with the PS4, I was annoyed. Not really mad, since I don't play a ton of online games, but every once in a while it's fun. I started digging in to PS+ and found out about the free games. Holy crap - that's when it made all the sense in the world to sign up for this.First off, a PS+ membership spans all of your devices, so one membership works across your PS4, PS3, Vita, and PSP. They release multiple games for each every month, and the titles are just getting better and better. Recently Tomb Raider 2013 was released for the PS3. Resogun is still one of the best games on the PS4. Outlast on PS4 is easily worth the price of a year of PS+ by itself. Bioshock Infinite and Borderlands 2 on PS3 last month. Uncharted 3 on PS3. The list goes on and on.The only limitation here is that sure - the games are "free" and you can download them as many times as you want to all of your devices - HOWEVER, they only work for as long as you keep paying for a PS+ membership, so it's still not as good as owning a physical disc, which you'll be able to use even after something happens with PS+ (i.e. they lose the license to keep a game alive, change the model and retire an old console, or whatever). The good news is that once a game becomes free on PS+, the value of the physical disc usually goes through the floor, so you physical media collectors out there can benefit too without even paying for PS+.Overall the service is great. More free games than I have time to play for $49 a year, with new AAA titles being released every month on multiple consoles. That's less than the cost of a single new game. It's a no brainer.

Very good deal overall, especially if you have a Vita
If you were on a budget you could just pay for this membership and play the many games that comes with it and not be without games. They add a lot of good games (I find for me I find something interesting every few months) to the point I have a huge backlog now and am starting to worry if I'm going to fill up my PS3's hard drive (I've only been a member 5 months now). Also, you will always have access to any "free" games you download on PS+ as long as you are a member. So if you need to stop paying for a while (and aren't playing the games), you can pick PS+ up later and get access again to all the games you downloaded before under PS+. Think of it like Netflix but you get to play the games offline as well, no internet required to play the games you get (just internet required to obtain them and probably also every time when your sub runs out you'll need to connect once to let the game license know you are good for another year or so <- you can stack years). Also, if you have a Vita, I really can't stress that you really should subscribe. It seems that a lot of the best Vita games make it onto this membership (I've gotten Gravity Rush, Wipe Out, Uncharted, Rayman Origins all on it and that's just the Vita specific games, not even including the PSP games like GTA Tales of Liberty City. And I know Persona was on it at one time as well as Assassin's Creed). Bad side of being a PS+ member when you have a Vita? You're going to want a large memory card of which those are super overpriced :(. But if you wait good deals come around (well at least deals that make the cards more reasonable). Like I just picked up a 32 GB for 40 bux. Also, the cloud storage saves is really nice to have and you can get some really good discounts (FF XIV was half off when I wrote this review on both the regular and special edition) on digital games. Plus sometimes you get to play beta trials (I discovered Killzone for the Vita through the beta trial I could participate in as a PS+ membership). It's sad that Sony will not allow MP without PS+ on PS4, but the fact that they offer so much for it that I got this before they even announced that (and I'm a cheapskate and usually don't go for these kind of services) has me not caring too much. I already have PS+ for stuff Sony actually offers me extra so it doesn't feel like I'm being cajoled into paying rather than them offering me a good value to join.

FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVING TROUBLE READ HERE
The Card works fine I assure you since after countless tries I was finally able to punch it in successfully without any error, the problem is the PSN Store and NOT THE CARD!! The server is overloaded with the amount of people on it who JUST LIKE YOU purchased this AMAZING DEAL. The server was overloaded and cannot handle this much requests at the same time. I ASSURE YOU THAT WITHIN 24 HRS IT WILL BE FINE (for U.S). For now just write down your code and keep it somewhere safe and try it later. If your as persistent as me then keep going at it and you might get lucky if the server chooses you, lol. The server is overloaded and this the reason it's displaying that error. This is why I Prefer Amazon rather then any other of the retailers, I mean who wants to get trampled?? Buying this in the comfort of my own home deserves a 5 star indeed!!!**********EDIT**********It has come to my understanding that people (mainly European) are still having trouble inputting the code purchased and are very frustrated with this situation. My advice was meant for the U.S and NOT for everyone else. If you are in Europe it has come to my understanding that the reason you are not able to input the code the Code Purchased is because OF THE EUROPEAN PS4 RELEASE, This release has caused many problems on the network due to the multitudes of people trying to create accounts at the same time which possibly overloaded it.**********MY ADVICE**********If you are still having trouble inputting the code after the 24hr mark then I recommend using an alternative method recommended my a fellow user in the comments section. On the main XMB ---> "ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT" ---> "REDEEM CODES"This is a possible solution that has worked for others if you cannot access the PSN Store. I will keep people updated if the problem persists.
