Intertape Sheathing Tape, 2.36" x 72.1 yd, Red/Black, 5560CNDR

Excellent sheathing tape- it is EXTREMELY sticky with a pressure-activated adhesion- press hard against anything (including your fingertips) and it STICKS. It is thin by design so it can be a bit unruly to work with - tears linearly somewhat easily (puts up an appropriate fight tearing on bias- CUT IT instead!). Static can be a "magnetic" headache, BUT it lays down smoothly and conforms well to just about any geometry. My primary application was for sealing Foamular XPS and it worked perfectly to seal seams and hold panels in place. It has since doubled as packing tape for small repairs to odds and ends. NOTE: It has an off-putting smell in close quarters- just a heads up if you are sensitive to such things.

This product works even better than the same brand we bought at a local home supply. It is has stronger, better adhesion. Works fabulously. It can split if you are not careful when cutting it, but that happens to kinds of plastic backed tapes.

It is surprising I cannot find this tape in any home improvement store. It is light, yet strong enough to seal the seams on my insulation polystyrene 4"x8" sheets. Very sticky; even after a year of being left open to the basement extremes of high (70%)/ low humidity(28%) & high(72F / low 38F)temperatures, the tape holds together with no lifting. I am complete now on my basement insulation project and soon the dry wall will go up along with the new HVAC system (which will keep the basement a much more consistent 68 - 72F temperature and humidity well below 45%.

I needed to buy this to tape Tyvek seams. The local lumber yard had Tyvek tape for $13.50 /50 yards. I'm not sure if the Tyvek tape is any better but I can say that this tap sticks well and there is a lot more for the money. This is a good value.

This tape is fantastic! I've used 3 rolls on my basement with the pink panther 2" Foam board product and the adhesion is great. This product is pretty sticky so you have to plan your rout before application. Pre-pulling the strips and cutting in advance is not a good idea, pull from the roll when at all possible and work from the top. If you keep your razor knife on the floor it's pretty easy to grab and make the cut.

I'm not sure how much this stuff is supposed to be but it works great.My daughter and I did a project together and this stuff plays a major role by preventing the foam from sticking.

Works as advertised. Used to seal foam board insulation in my basement. Adheres well.

Moved down from Canada where the red "Tuck Tape" is king. This is the closest I have found in the US and works as advertised. Use it to seal seams/holes/cuts in vapor barriers and a multitude of other uses when on the job site.

I was able to do an epoxy pour and the items released easily from the mould because of the tape. Money well spent!
