Lifted

This is his best to date. And sure there is that whole Laurel Canyon, Neil Young, groovy thing going on. But with this record he truly comes into his own. "The Widow" - Oh yes. Best music I've purchased in a very long time. Seriously.

Ordered this and 'Rain Plans' on vinyl after hearing quite a few of his songs on the Jonathon Wilson (another great newer artist) station on Pandora and wow. Both albums are just incredible through and through. Will be ordering some of his older albums soon too!

Look. I don’t want to be jerk and this is a low class move, but if there’s a 1-star review still on here that is written with the Neanderthal eqivilance about such a beautiful album, then you’ll know where I’m coming from.This album is beautiful. People keep saying Neil Young, and I get that, but there’s way more Brian Wilson (sorry to drag him out again). The flowing harmonies over the instruments (tambourine included) is wonderful.It’s a great album with thoughtful lyrics. Making a one word (was that review even a word?) review about a subliminal, persuasive, subtlety hypnotic album.......I’m glad it’s not for you.Thanks Israel. You created something great.

I own all his records. This one is the most adventurous and probably not as accessible as his early records, but what a ride if you're into diving deep into something. Nobody makes records with so many moving parts anymore. Truly an instant classic in my world!

Coma-inducing.

Not much else to say here, this album really exceeded my expectations. Isreal Nash really captures that cool Laurel Canyon sound - he sounds like Neil Young, if Neil Young was more psychedelic and a better singer.

By far Israel Nash’s most creative work. “Looking Glass”, “Lucky Ones”, and “The Widow” are phenomenal.
