Glue stick without using glue stick!
I went into buying this skeptical, and ended up pleasantly surprised. Background: I got this for my Adventure 5M because of adhesions issues. Occasionally PLA and even more times PETG on long or large prints would lift in the corners or break free completely. I am not a fan of glue stick but sometimes it's necessary. In comes this purchase.First experience: printing A7 notebook parts for work. Used this plate and wow it stuck like I was using glue stick. Though "it's new let's try a few more". Every part stuck even the smallest! Then tried PETG. And the same!PRO: sticks like glue!CON: sticks like glue! Stop a print because you made mistake? Or changed your mind and only did 1-3 layers? Kinda hard to remove but I mean that's the whole reason I got this.I'm about 6 prints in. I'll update as it ages.

No More Glue Sticks
I have two kobra 3s and one of them had a z-axis calibration issue which caused it to remove all of the top textured of the original build plate in a 2" diameter circle, so I needed a replacement build plate. I had been reading about the cool plates so I decided to try this one (CryoGrip Pro Glacier). I was really interested in not having to use any sort of bed adhesive, like glue sticks. I hate having to remove the glue stick residue from the prints, it's not hard, it's just a pain. When this build plate arrived, I immediately put it on the printer and printed a benchy, because it's fast and I knew what to expect from the printer. It printed great, no bed adhesion issues. I've used this plate daily for almost a month and I have not had a single print failure due to a bed adhesion issue. The models just stick to it. As a matter of fact, they stick almost too well to it; I've had to start using a metal scraper to remove some models (gently of course).According to the instructions, the bed temperature should be between 45 and 55 degrees C for PLA and the default temp for pla on the kobra 3 is 60. It's easy to adjust the bed temp on the kobra 3 and I have managed to change the default temp to 45; however, the default doesn't stay at 45 for more than 3-4 prints before it's somehow back to 60. So I just try to make sure it gets changed to 45 every time. However, sometimes I miss it and the temp isn't adjusted the bed temp is 60 the whole time, I haven't found that has had any impact on the quality of the prints. This plate is textured, however, it is finely textured, it's not quite smooth but it's pretty close. There is a very noticeable difference between the feel of models printed on it versus those printed on the textured plates.I'm very happy with this plate. I actually ordered a second one about two weeks after I ordered the first one. These are now my go to build plates.

Best Build Plate I Have Encountered
I've been 3D printing for over 10 years and used many different print surfaces and adhesives but the CryoGrip Glacier plate is the best solution I have found to date. I bought this for my FlashForge ADM 5M Pro. It is very easy to use as NO adhesives are required. Just heat the bed to 50C and print. I've had 100% success with this build plate since my first day. Some prints may be difficult to remove and you could damage them if you just yank them off. If you get resistance just flex the plate and the print will pop off. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

Super pleased with this plate!
I’ve printed some torture prints since getting this plate and they have stuck really well! I’ve only run PLA+, glitter PLA, and PETG so far. The pictured white PETG prints on end, have a small cross section, are 275mm tall, and have stuck like a champ. The plate reminds me of shark skin, smooth look but feels similar to sandpaper. Large surface area prints stick like glue and hold even when cooled. As well as this holds, I expected single layer stuff like the purge line to be hard to remove like on smooth PEI, but shocking it’s not. Finished surface is smooth. I’ve run slightly cooler temps than my PEI temps, but haven’t played too much with how far I could go. For larger surface area prints, I fell like I could probably push temps way down.I’m very pleased with this plate so far!

Don’t buy if your going to use in setting where you need same surface appearance!
Would not recommend due to the inconsistency of quality. I have three different plates now with all three different surfaces. I have two printers which print same file side by side and this by far has been the toughest decision to make. I wanted to keep these plates but the surface of the print does not match from plate to plate hindering ability to print simultaneously. I would say don’t buy this if you are running multiple printers and want the same quality in print surface. I will be sharing some picture of the plates surface and also the print quality from plate to plate. The three cubes are (left) plate #2 on printer #1 (center) plate #1 (same in both printers) and (right) plate #2 on printer #2. Quality is crap from the plate #2. Not like my original cryo plate. I hate to give bad reviews but the consistency of the quality is extremely poor. Adhesion is great and the plate number one has great texture appearance. The thickness of all three plates differ from .51 to .56 to .66. (.66 is the plate #1 and the center cube with the expected texture in print side. I have done numerous prints to test and adjust to no avail. I am not making a profile just for the lack of quality and consistency of a well known company. Hopefully you have read this in its entirety to assist you in your future purchase.

Kind of compatible with the K1
So, this build plate claims to be compatible with the Creality K1. And it is - kind of. It does not have the cutouts at the back of the plate to allow it to work properly with the stop screws that the K1 has on it's magnetic plate. So, the build plate ends up sitting forward more than it should. It does not appear to interfere with the actual use - even with the door closed. It does make aligning the plate a little more involved. I have not done a lot of prints on it. So, I can't speak to its longevity yet.
