Men's Shotski Jacket

This omni-heat tech is the real deal. I have this jacket and the Bugaboo V snow pants, and you wont believe how well they keep you warm. I went for a walk with just jeans and a sweatshirt underneath, and I felt nice and cool - not hot; not cold. Like I was in an air conditioned room on a hot summer day. Once I drank my hot cocoa, I started to sweat, though. Pretty impressive considering it was well below zero F, and the wind was blowing around 12mph. I'm just under 6' tall and weigh 185lbs with an athletic build, and the medium fits perfectly. It doesn't feel tight and there's no restriction in movement with a sweatshirt underneath. The cut of the jacket is quite stylish. The shoulders have almost a tailored look like a suit. You're gonna look good in this jacket. It seems to be well made, but only time will tell how durable it is. If it starts to fall apart within a couple years, I'll come back and update this review. But my first impression of this jacket is very positive. Absolutely no complaints as of right now. It looks good, keeps you just the right temp, and should keep you nice and dry if you're out horsing around in the snow.

Overall, I love Columbia products, so when I saw this jacket online, I knew that I really wanted to try out the jacket. Although I don't ski, I spend a good amount of time outdoors in the winter and this jacket is very thick and warm and will be great this winter season. I ordered the mountain/navy blue color and I love the contrast between the two colors of blue. There are tons of pockets and the hood is very roomy. The jacket is long and goes past my backside and I'm 6'4" tall. The lining on this jacket is Omni-Heat (silver) and it's a great technology that I've had on other Columbia jackets. As far as the quality, it's super high quality as far as the materials, stitching, and design. Overall, I'm totally happy to have this jacket and it's definitely going to be my go to jacket this winter. This has been such a hot summer it's hard to imgaine wearing this jacket right now, but come winter, I'll be nice and toasty in this great Columbia jacket. I highly recommend this jacket.
