Fantastically Odor Free!!! Tad Harder To Apply Than Original Lume But SOOOOO Worth It
As a long time original formula Lume user, the texture if these new anti-perspirent sticks are quite different and take getting used to. The original formula is soft, and glides on/rubs in like lotion. This formula has a stiffer much tackier consistency. It takes some rubbing to apply and smooth out. But OMG, the sweat and odor protection is incredible. I'm not an odorous person so one application lasts days for me. But what I'm most surprised (in the best way) is there is now absolutely zero odors from my sweaty pubescent preteens after we made the switch. Incredible because they still smelled after using original Lume. This formula lasts and lasts through workouts, hot weather, perimenopause, puberty, swim, and shower, etc. Fantastic product. Thank you!!!

Works well!
Strong smell at first. The sweat control does seem to work well. I've found that washing the product away the next day in the shower takes some effort but less effort when I use the Lume acidified soap. I also find that I only need to use this every third day and can use the regular deodorant in between. Peony Rose and Clean Tangerine are my favorites. I think the lavender sage would be good for a man. Lume! Where is the peony rose scent in this sweat control product?

Unscented version has a strong herbal/medicinal smell
The unscented version has a strange pungent and medicinal smell; it eventually fades, but it’s very noticeable for at least two hours. If you apply at night, it should be fine by morning, and it’s really good at keeping armpits completely odor-free the whole day. If I used it in the morning, I’d be very self-conscious until that weird ingredient faded away because it’s STRONG. I can’t tell what ingredient is the culprit, but when I see other reviewers say the fragranced versions they bought smell different from the non-sweat-control Lume, I bet this is what they’re referring to. The wetness control seems to work very well for me, so I’m happy with that. I’ve taken three-mile walks in 80°F in the evenings with great results so far, but I’ve yet to try it outside in the daytime when it’s hotter. The texture is also kinda too solid, so you have to hold it to your armpit to warm it up a few seconds, but at least I didn’t see any excessive residue. I’m surprised because Lume’s sweat control lotion version really is truly unscented and very, very effective; it smells like nothing out of the tube, and it keeps me totally odor-free all day. I really wanted the solid because it’s way more convenient to apply than the lotion, but with this smell, I’m afraid it’s almost unusable. I just wish they made the lotion version with an armpits applicator like the classic Lume, or that the solid were a little bit softer and without that awful smell!

Great product
I have been using Lume for about a year now. I loved it except for the sweaty pits!! No odor just damp when it was hot. Tried this deodorant with sweat control and so far I like it. I was a little hesitant when I first opens it because it doesn't smell great to me. Supposed to smell like baby powder, but has a weird smell that kind of resembles baby powder, I guess. They missed the mark a little bit, though. Other than that, though, it's great! Works as promised!!! I'll try a different scent next time I order, but I will definitely be ordering it again!!!!

Great product
Love this item. It works longer than other deodorants that I’ve bought at a local store. It smells fresh but not overwhelming.

Protection 12+hrs
First time using it. Works great on keeping the odor controlled. I’ll test other scents to see if it’s just only this one or all of them smells funny on the first 5-10 min. Is kind of like a sulfur stink and After that the scent just tones down. Price is fair for the amount (size) of product you are buying.

As good as OG Lume. Antiperspirant values is meh.
I climbed on the Lume bandwagon years ago. I loved the stuff and honestly I never used to sweat much. The OG formula did exactly what it promised....anywhere you put it you'd have ZERO and I mean zero odor for a good 23-48 hrs. Flash forward a few years and I am now fully in the throes of peeimenopause. Night sweats multiple daytime hot flashes and more sweating than I've ever had. OG Lume still kept me smelling neutral, but there was so much moisture in my pits and under the boobies. I gave those new formula a shot and here's my honest review. It stops odor for a good 24-48 like original Lume. It is a little hard and not as easy to put on so I do it when I'm still moist from the shower. (Moist is not a bad word y'all). It did greatly decrease the amount of sweat for a good 10 hours, but I found myself getting moist pits again and had to reapply. So in a nutshell it works as good as OG Lume BUT the antiperspirant is not as long lasting as a normal drug store aluminum deodorant. I'm going to stick with it. I still think they could do a better antiperspirant, but this will do for now. If I go somewhere I need longer antiperspirant action I'll just have to reapply or top it with the dreaded standard antiperspirant. You're welcome

Itia struggle for sure
I'm kinda still undecided about LUME. Fact is for some reason the scents matter when it comes to how effective the product is. I've also noticed a different between the creams & sticks have different effectiveness/longevity. The melon stick works great and lasts long but does nothing for sweat control. The sweat control tube cream works (soft powder) but I run out of it faster because the small amount they advertise in the commercial isn't enough for me. Especially when I sweat sometimes it runs down and then my armpits to my elbow can smell. I now recently tried the sweat control stick (soft powder) and it doesn't smell the same as the tube. It almost smells like nail polish drying when you first apply it and it doesn't give me 72 hour effects and I ended up with sweat running down my arm today which I didn't have when I used the tube. The most frustrating thing is that literally some of the scents do not work for me at all. For example they used to have a coconut, I could shower in the AM and then stink by noon. I also recently looked at the ingredients and I was not expecting to see aluminum because when I originally started purchasing LUME I was under the impression it was supposed to be more natural and less chemicals. I have been waiting months for the Melon Scent stick with added scent control. The melon scent stick worked great for me the only issue was that it does nothing to stop the sweat. It's really frustrating that each time LUME releases a different product it's in those scents that remind me of cleaning supplies. Tangerine... Lavender.... And now they released vanilla which again I've been waiting a super long time for the other scents. I can't tell you the reason why some of the scents work for my body and some don't. Since according to LUME it shouldn't matter but it does. I use lysol laundry sanitizer with my laundry and pretty much live in tank tops and I will still sweat and smell since I live in a hot humid tropical environment. I have a love hate relationship with Lume and it's frustrating because I unfortunately have to use more of the product and I go through it quickly because I still have to apply it at least once a day.
