Wow. These are fun. Tried them out with a buddy for a one-on-one game and these sped up the game significantly. After a few rounds, we switched back to regulation-sized balls and were laughing all the way through. Great for dexterity, although sometimes these balls take an "off-course" bounce.

As a certified pickleball coach, I’ve tried all kinds of training tools with beginners, including these mini pickleballs. They’re small, light, and have a bit of a rubbery bounce off the paddle, so they come off the paddle more quickly and without a lot of effort. But they do bounce to about the same height as a regular pickleball, so you’re still practicing the right body position when you strike the ball. I think they are best for paddle control and hand-eye coordination drills. I like using them for individual tap-up or wall drills, and for fast volley exchanges across the net with a partner. Since they’re quieter and lighter than a real ball, you can also hit them against a wall indoors without worrying about dents or noise complaints. The downside, though, is if your court is surrounded by chain link fencing, the balls will roll out of the court. These mini balls are good for sharpening reaction time and paddle awareness, particularly for net play, but they aren't useful for practicing drives, spin, or finesse shots. This is a quality mini-pickleball, but the cost per ball is more than you’d pay for most regulation balls. They’re not going to radically improve your game, but if you are looking for mini pickleballs, these ones are a good choice.
