Cheap alternative to replacing my security system nvr.
Had a problem with my nvr recording bought this 2tb hard drive and now it's been working absolutely perfect.

I thought I was gonna have to replace my hard drive because the old one was bad. This new one sit right in place. Formatted it and it worked great.

i got this one for my sannce dvr.and it work good.it still goin 24-7 only thing there is a small noise coming from the hard drive.but i can live with it.other than that i can't complaint.

Replaced my old one!
Received HD today, and installed it in my Swann DVR. Applied power and formatted drive. All good to go.Should make searches a bit faster since it is 7200RPM vs. the old drive at 5400RPM. Can't go wrong with the price of this unit for the capacity it has.

Not worth it
Installing and formatting the drive was easy. A little on the noisy side. After 39 days the system says drive lost. No video is being saved and system can't even find the hard drive. Save some money and buy a better quality.

Very good hard drive for my security cameras
I bought a security camera system and it supposedly came with a 1TB hard drive. Opening it up, it had a hard drive….manufactured in 2010! Didnt work. Found this one after doing research. Installed it a few months ago and Ive had no issues at all. I got the 2TB drive and it records 28 days with 8 cameras at full 1080p. Recommend.
