Raspberry Pi 5 Kit 8GB RAM with Pi 5 Case,Active Cooler,Screwdrive and Pi 5 8GB Board Included

I use it for home assistant is and it works very well and fast. I've used raspberry pi OS also on this device and it works great. Easy to put the case together. Kit came with everything as advertised.

Case fits very well, easy to assemble. Works as expected. Simple heat sink installation with adhesive backing.

Nice kit all together. It was pretty easy to put together and have it up and running in a few minutes. Definitely a good buy for a beginner like myself.

This is a kit. You have to assemble it and connect accessories. The four small screws that attach the R Pi 5 board to the case were difficult to install. Probably best to hold them with needle-nose pliers, and press them gently straight into the holes, then tighten with a micro-Phillips screwdriver. The screwdriver they include is too small if your hands are not very strong. You need to provide a keyboard, mouse, monitor, power supply, interconnect cables, and a microSD card, preferably one that is very fast and is at least 32GB. Certainly more if you are doing videos or graphics. I used a 128GB SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-1 card. I think the power supply needs to be 5.0 Vdc at at least 3.5 amps. More if you are powering things via the USB connectors. The case is plastic, but seems to be solid. The heatsink and fan should be sufficient for cooling the CPU, memory, and graphics chips. Once together and configured, it is amazing all the things it can do and how fast it is. Libre Office and other useful apps can be installed with the operating system when you get them from RaspberryPi.com. It is a very nice product.

The case is extremely tight and if you don't put it in just right, the plastic button will press against the power button forcing a constant reboot cycle. I had to loosen the four screws, slide the board towards the NIC adapter side of the case and then tighten the screws at the same time. For those who mention that the screwdrive(R) isn't magnetized, the one I received is. (seller, learn how to spell please) For those complaining about the button requiring tweezers, put the button in and hold the case so that gravity keeps it in place while you insert the board. Rocket science, this is not. That being said, they need to put the correct picture for the thermal pad placement, since there isn't a chip in spot B that corresponds to the pad size. I ended up putting it on the memory chip. As others have said, PSU needs to be added to this kit to make it complete. Item arrived promptly and as described. So far, this seems to be a great product for the price!

Kit is a strong word. Since a power cable, sd, and the hdmi cable is still needed maybe call it PI5 + above cooling with case so people know to order what’s not included. If I would have known would not have ordered here tbh. The pi works as expected just a bit misleading for people skimming in a hurry.
