Rust-Oleum 254170 Professional Primer Spray Paint, 15 oz, Aluminum

I used this to pain the aluminum under my gas tank on my boat. It works just as described and sticks really well to aluminum.

Fantastic product. Repainting a outboard motor lower unit. This product went on smooth and even. Unfortunately, I used Quick Silver paint afterwards and the uneven and spatter from that paint ruined the project. Use rustolium paint NOT Quick Silver

I have no real experience in painting aluminum, but had a need to paint a 2' x 4' piece of new 1/8" aluminum with exterior latex house paint. So, bought a can of this stuff to prime it with, applied it per instructions... no issues. The top coat latex seems to have adhered to it very well.Only time will tell, but can at least report that application was straightforward: No runs, no adhesion issues. Drying time as advertised.

As with any paint performance is only as good as the prep

This really works well to keep paint adhered to aluminum. I sanded and prepped my car's roof racks with this primer, then applied several coats of good black spray paint. It's held up for several years of outdoor use in sun and snow.

As advertised, arrived quickly, would buy from again.

This arrived very quickly. It did a great job covering the aluminum sign I’m refurbishing. Very impressed. It’s Rustoleum so I expect it will last.

I used this primer on my new alumininm heads on my chevy engine. It really brought out the excellence.
