didn't disappoint. As my friend said
Brought one pair 8x42 and one pair 10x42 to a safari in Kruger, didn't disappoint. As my friend said: "How is this possible, it looks better than if I was there". The 8x42 and 10x42 look identical but I feel the 10x42 has somewhat of a smoother operation.

We ordered these in Sept 2015 and were initially very pleased with them as we wanted them mainly to watch birds in our garden and they performed this function very well being an improvement over our previous set of binoculars. However as of February 2016 we discovered that one of the lenses that you view through has now dropped out. So we are now looking to either have these either repaired or replaced. It looks as though this isn't now possible through Amazon so about to contact Opticalia directly. so although they're great binoculars we're less than impressed with the build quality.

After a fair bit of research I settled on these as my first pair of binoculars. Can't wait to take them to the Kruger park!
